## Description

Our company president, Lynn C Thompson, bought the first knife that custom maker, Lloyd Pendleton ever made in 1973. The two went on to be fast friends, and together they collaborated on some of the finest hunting knives in the industry, the Pendleton Series. Our Mini Hunter was designed with one goal in mind, to pare down a functional hunting knife to the smallest size that practicality would allow. Capable of skinning, dressing and processing even large game, this diminutive hunting knife is an indispensable tool that will make a perfect addition to any hunting or camping pack or survival kit. Newly improved for 2015 with an upgraded handle for a secure 4 finger grip, the Pendleton Mini Hunter also comes complete with a tough, weather resistant Secure-Ex™ sheath, locking it safely in place, while remaining light enough to carry 24 hours a day. Our Pendleton Hunter and Mini Hunter are now also available for 2015 in premium American AUS10A High Carbon Steel, with a hard wearing DLC (diamond like) coating for superior durability in the field.

Review: Great little knife - This is a perfect little EDC knife that is as practical as a folding knife but much better for hard use. No pivot and the handle is more slip-resistant. The sheath is terrible though. Same awful secure-ex sheath that is the weakness of a lot of cold steel products. The sheaths are fiberglass-filled nylon so they dull the knife if you aren't extremely careful sliding it in and out of the sheath. I bought an aftermarket Kydex sheath online for this knife and the sheath was cheaper than it would cost to buy the material to make it myself. Now this is a perfect pocket fixed blade or even small and light enough for neck carry. Also good for a lot of camp and kitchen tasks. Cooking tasks are best with a knife like this that is easy to clean. Nothing more gross than getting food crud in the nooks and crannies of your folding knife. This is worth every penny even if you end up buying a better sheath.
Review: Awesome little hunting/EDC knife - Nice little fixed blade knife. Definitely worth the money. Good grip. Makes for a nice, lightweight EDC and hunting knife.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome little hunting/EDC knife

Nice little fixed blade knife. Definitely worth the money. Good grip. Makes for a nice, lightweight EDC and hunting knife.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solid little user
*by C***E on July 12, 2025*

Solid little user edc knife so far. If I squeeze the handle a bit, I can hear that the tang has a spot that's not fully adhered to the handle material, but so far hasn't created an issue with use. I ordered the AUS-10A version because of the price and they sent me one that was stamped and packaged as 3V. I prefer the 3V, but idk if that's an error on the distributor or Cold Steel. I guess we'll see if it really is 3V in time, but it's a great little buy for sub $30 that I don't mind handing to people if they need a knife. Not my favorite style of sheath, but it's sturdy and does its job well.
