What is the diameter of the opening? I want to use a metal difuser. How many oz. does it hold?

The pot holds about 36 oz. and the opening is 2 3/4 inches.

Is it made in China? and are the prints stamped?

Yes. Made in China. Looks good from far but it is print-stapmed. It does not look good neither feels good when toching it. It is not fine china but it looks very pretty from a distance. But be aware, it is not well packed. My teapot came broken :-( and i had to glue it.

Does tjis teapot have holes on the inside at the spout like a filter or just an open spout

This teapot has the built in strainer holes to filter out at least the bigger pieces of loose tea leaves.

What is the diameter of the opening? I want to use a 3" steel diffuser.

Mine is a 4 cup and it fits. I think they are all standard in that aspect.
