Worked better on the hinge side
Concerned the littles would jam their finger in the doors at some point, I purchased these pinch guards and installed them per instructions: Outer edge of door and up high or at top of door at least 6 inches from edge. This didn't exactly work.Yes, no finger jams on the outside, but what about little fingers poking through the inside edge with the hinges? Having twins, believe me one would be at the door swinging it open and closed giggling hysterically while the other was grabbing hold at the opposite side, fingers neatly gripped just above the hinge. It was a disaster waiting to happen since fingers can be pinched there too!Simple solution, place the pinch guard on the side of the door with the hinges and up high enough they can't reach. This stops the door from closing on little fingers both at the doorknob side and at the hinge side. Works perfect! I love these things. And they fit on our overly thick front door too!

Efficient & Discreet
Love these! Bought a dollar store version, and while super cute (the cat in my photo), they were bulky and too noticeable. They also couldn’t be attached to the door knob so I had to store them somewhere else and try not to lose them... These guards, however, are surprisingly small, made of rubber instead of foam, are actually fitted to the door width, and have a clip to attach to handle-style door knobs. They get the job done while staying discreet, not distracting from the rest of your decor. Actually got them for my cat who often got locked in the hallway when the wind blew doors shut.(When I first opened the box, all the pieces looked scratched but it’s just powder. Give it a rub and they’re smooth again)

Awesome for the classroom door….
These are my new favorite device in my classroom.I have the kids put it on the door when they go to the bathroom and it just leaves the door open enough for them to come back in without causing issues with other kids walking by.Highly recommend!!!

Have you tried other door stops and they haven't worked, try these!!!!
We have thick doors in our apt, and the usual white foam door pinch guards you may see on amazon just don't cut it. All of the styles of pinch guards I have used in the past (white foam, clear plastic gel, etc.) have broken within a few days of use. These pinch guards are awesome. The material is rubber-like and definitely more sturdy than others that I have used before. They truly expand to the door size we have without cracking or breaking. I highly suggest that if you are looking for this sort of product to go with this one!

For toddlers who slam doors, get 2 for each door.
I've had these for about a month. They're great. Sturdy and inconspicuous. I have 2 toddlers so I put 2 up high on each door when I need to keep a door from shutting. That way when they try to slam the door it makes contact in 2 places instead of 1. With only 1 on it gives the door a little bit of torque when they slam it. So 2 works better. I use mine for the door to the back porch, but I'm going to buy more for another room where the cat needs access but the kids keep shutting her out.
