Plenty of passion.!
Bayside Passions is another beautiful story in the (Bay Summers Series) After many months of video chats and phone calls Emery is finally relocating to Wellfleet and Dean couldn’t be happier, he’s waited for this moment.Dean and Emery have wonderful chemistry between them. Emery is a little oblivious of this and she is adamant that she wants to stay in the friends zone, she has her reasons however Dean has other ideas and has his work cut out. This story is beautifuly paced, its very endearing as you would expect and in true Melissa Foster fashion... there are lessons to be learned and everything has a deeper meaning it’s absolutely fascinating and I always come away knowing so much more.Emery has a fabulous personality, she’s a bit chaotic, she’s fun, this is what Dean loves about her, she’s had no problems settling in, you can’t imagine her having a problem with anyone.Dean’s father’s name has been thrown around a few times and you immediately pick up on Dean’s hesitation and you have to wonder what this means. This story has been building nicely as it focuses on Dean and Emery’s Relationship but when it gets to about 62% it takes on an extra dimension, finding out who the horrible man in Rose’s room is comes as a surprise, and Dean’s father’s attitude towards Emery is awful... how can anyone want to be anything other than pleasant to her. With Emery worrying and questioning the right thing to do, Dean once again has his work cut out convincing Emery that nothing will come between them.It isn’t planned but Emery gives an Oscar winning performance to Dean’s Father, Rose loved it but Emery thinks she’s made things worse, unsure she goes home only to find him there with Dean and Jett... it comes as a bit of a surprise but after apologies are exchanged...there’s hope it’s a start. There are some funny moments but the scene towards the end with Cash and Tango is absolutely brilliant!!Melissa Foster pulls everything out the bag for another stunning epilogue ..!!Thank you.

I loved reading Bayside Passions
I loved reading Bayside Passions, the second book in the Bayside Summers Series. I look forward to learning more about this world and its characters and this book did not disappoint, allowing me to catch up with some of my favorites such as Violet and Desiree.Emery Andrews is beautiful, free-spirited and unique in her character. When her best friend Desiree moved to Bayside Summers, she is left feeling lost and looking to find her own way. After a disaster regarding her boss, and her blossoming friendship with Dean Masters and Desiree's relocation, Emery decides to uproot her life and come to Bayside. In moving a new life is created for her, a life in which she can teach Yoga to locals and elderly patients. It is in her role that she meets 'Rose' a fun-loving old lady who has been wheelchair bound. Through her practices and yoga, she aims to heal Rose and make her ailments more bearable, learning about the ladies family and past.Little does Emery know that she has already become acquainted with Rose's grandson Dean Masters, an ex-trauma care nurse who is renovating the gardens of this resort and property. From the moment Dean meets Emery, he is captivated, always wanting more from her than the close friendship they share, but not wanting to push her away. He encourages her to move to Bayside, using the move as an opportunity to get to know her better. After an unfortunate moment regarding a naked man in Violet's kitchen, Emery is forced to move in with Dean, something that opens her eyes to how thoughtful he is, and how her feelings are more than just platonic. Through Deans persistence and Emerys determination to overcome her relationship fears, they strike up a deliciously sweet romance.Dean is not without his own struggles, dealing with an overbearing and judgemental father. Emery gifts him with the courage to speak his mind and to persevere despite others giving up. He is a calming force to Emery and is always sensitive and aware of her needs.I would recommend this book to all romance lovers, and anyone who likes reading books as part of a series or as a standalone novel. This book has made me look forward to finding out more about Violet, who won't fail in making you laugh.

I Want to Live in Bayside Now!!!!
I want to live in Bayside now!! This doesn't surprise me since every time I get engrossed in a Melissa Foster series, I want to live there! Bayside Passions deserves at least 100 stars! I loved Desiree's and Rick's story in Bayside Desires so much that I couldn't wait to dive into Emery and Dean's story!Emery is Desiree's best friend from Virginia. They've know each other since grade school and have become more like sisters then BFF's. So, when Desiree found her HEA in Rick and stayed in Bayside, it was only natural for Emery to follow. She wasn't happy in Virginia and there was some chaos in her life that she needed to get away from. Emery met Dean at the end of book 1 when she came down for Rick popping the question to Desiree. They hit it off immediately and the chemistry was very evident. But, Emery put Dean in the "friend zone" and denied her feelings for the sake of the friendship.I loved Emery!!! Her energy, positivity, her mouth with no filter, loyalty, and her wonderful outlook on life were awesome!! I would love to hang out with her for a few days just to soak it up!Dean is Rick and Drake's friend and business partner. They've know each other since they were kids and have a strong bond. Dean is a landscaper and, really, an artist. He was a trauma nurse but didn't want to be around all the negativity that was involved with the job. It was sucking the life out of him and wanted to be around positive things rather then negative things. This turns out to be an enormous wedge between him and his father, a successful doctor. Dean knew from the moment he met Emery that she had to be in his life! He just had to get her to Bayside and show her how great they were together. And, Man, did he ever!!! This man is amazing!! He's so patient and loving, especially in how he handled any obstacle that Emery threw in their path. He was also extremely romantic, caring, thoughtful, the list goes on!!Watching Emery slowly realize that she was capable of loving someone and being in a relationship was wonderful. And watching Dean show her that she was perfect for him was fantastic!!We got to visit with Desiree, Rick, Drake, Serena, and Violet - which was fun. We also get to meet Rose! Lord, I love this woman!! I want to hang out with her and her friends!! I want to be her when I'm a grandmother!!This was a fantastic love story with great characters in an amazing town. I highly recommend it and the series to everyone!! Now, on to book 3 - Bayside Heat!!!

3.5 stars
Another wonderful addition to Melissa Foster’s Love in Bloom family. For some reason this particular offshoot of the series is not numbered in the way the rest are, but I know it’s the second in this offshoot series. I really loved the first book, Bayside Desires. I enjoyed this one, too. It was just a bit harder for me to get lost in…probably more to do with what’s going on in my real life than the book itself. I’m in middle of some major stuff over here and have barely had time to read. Plus, I’ve fallen into bed early actually too tired to get more than a chapter or two in each night.Regardless of my own personal issues right now, I couldn’t help but swoon over Dean. Oh my, he is a charmer. He’s definitely an alpha male, but somehow comes across as sweet while he’s being bossy. Plus, he seems to know when to back off to give Emery room to breath and regroup when needed.Emery is so much fun. I love that she found a way to make a living doing what she loves, even if that isn’t what most people would consider a “tradition” career. She never wavers in knowing she is helping people and doing the right thing for herself and those around her. I love that confidence in her abilities. She has other insecurities, but when it comes to her choice in career she is all confidence and take-charge.I mentioned earlier that I had trouble getting lost in this story. I truly do think it was more of my personal situation. I love the setting, the people, and the story. I’m so beyond ready for Drake and Serena to get their story and their HEA, so I’m glad they’ll be next in this series. These books always make me wish I had the time and money to book a Cape Cod vacation…or just up and move there!
