My kids took me to a Japanese restaurant for my birthday. They love sushi and sashimi and believe if I just give it a chance I'd love it too. Well I'm okay with the sushi, which is simply rice and vegetables rolled in dried and pressed 'sheet' seaweed... but I'm not quite ready to try sashimi, which involves raw fish so I ordered a couple of alternative dishes, one of which included a kind of salad. When it arrived it was a glass bowl on ice that was sitting in a larger bowl. The ice was literally glowing and changing colours! When I asked them how they did it the told me the 'secret'... it was simply small submersible colour-changing LED lights. They couldn't tell where I might find the lights though because they had imported theirs from from somewhere in East Asia. I kept my eyes and ears peeled though and finally saw success... because I found them on Amazon. They are beautiful and wow everyone who comes to our family events.

I purchased these for a 3D printed project I found on Thingiverse. And they work perfectly well. They flash and fade through a multitude of colours. They claim to be waterproof, however I haven't tested this "feature", and given it's a thin clear piece of rubber around the joint, I'd honestly wonder how much water it's likely to keep out.Considering the price and the usefulness, I'd say these are a good purchase. Just don't be surprised if they don't survive in water.The batteries are replaceable, however I'd guess it'd be cheaper to buy whole new units rather than just batteries.

Love these lights but the blinking is too fast for some of my projects . Bought some of the non blinking ones and find they are better. These lights are bright and versatile and recommend if you don’t mind the quick blinking.
