New, and awesome.
A friend mentioned this which was brand new to us, this paste is excellent in chili, pizza sauce and stir fry if you want to heat it up a bit. Use sparingly to start and try to find the right amount of punch for you.

The two pack is a good deal. One to use, one to share :) Not for spice wimps. Great flavor with a good profile and plenty of heat. Reminded me immediately of the Moroccan restaurant we had a couple of years back, but alas they are no more. The only reason this Harissa got less than 5 stars is the packaging. There is the slightest metallic overtone and I just don't like ingredients in a tube- hard to line up on a spice rack. I suppose the tube method has its benefits: its easy to mete out the heat for the faint of heart and it does minimize risk of oxidation if you don't use it up fast- but i like it hot so this tasty stuff won't last around my house. I will try other products in the name of foodie-science but this will be my standard unless I find something better.

Best all-around hot sauce for middle eastern cuisine
Harissa-it's magical! A little goes a long way. Spicy and flavorful, and enhances so many different foods and recipes. I vow never to be without this one!

Hot, spicy with a good flavor profile. Many of the Moroccan Tagine recipes call for Harrisa. I bought this as a standby (backup) until my own homemade Harissa was ready to go.
