Custom Dynamics CD-PFM-B License Plate Mount (Gloss Black Radius for 1984-2016 Harley-Davidson Models)

Worth the money,Great Purchase,Very Sturdy and sleek looking,I purchased this Lay-Down Plate Holder because I didn’t like the factory look and the side mount plate holders are cop magnets where I’m from the install was a breeze and fits great also the curve on the plate holder matches the fender profile on my Harley-Davidson Motorcycle.

Holes for the license plate screws are a little too far apart which requires the plate to pull to one side. Still barely noticeable. The screws for fastening the plate are a little small as well which helps keep a low profile but I was worried they might pull through the holes on the license plate. No issues so far after a few 200+ mile rides. Looks much better than the stock upright plate and was very easy to install! Installed on 2021 Harley Low Rider S.

heavy stamped metal. Chrome looks good. As others have mentioned the bolts that hold the plate in will fall through the holes in the plate so you will need a washer. My NY plate required some minor widening of the plate holes ( on the plate which is light aluminum with a drill bit to get things to line up / slight modification and you could use a small file if you have more patience. ). On the washers I ended up getting the recessed type from Home Depot in nickel and it fit perfectly. / they should throw in a few of those with this kit.

If fit my Heritage Classic perfectly and installed easily. Looks way better than the stock "billboard" mount. The finish is high quality and it is good and sturdy.The included rubber gasket insures a nice solid mate to the fender and prevents any damage to the paint at the mating surfaces. Cost was about 1/3 of any comparable products. Complaints: The frame/plate mounting screws are countersunk type. They should be pan heads and should include washers. Also, #10's would be better than #8's. I would have rated it 5 stars except that I ended up having to buy the necessary screws and washers.

This is a solid product, and it will achieve a more streamlined look than stock mount. Cleaned up the lines of my motorcycle. Hardware that comes with is good, and the product is high quality. Use thread locker. And as you tighten, keep adjusting for straightness of the mount. I hope this was helpful. I attached before/after pics.

Great product went on with ease, came with everything needed to mount to bike this worked on my 09 HD 1200low

So I wanted a simple lay down plate. The plate that came up the most was from a reasonably prominent company and was almost 80 bucks. I am glad I found this one, and that's why I am writing a review for it because I want to raise its ratings, so more people see it. It is slim, sleek, and unremarkable, which is precisely what I wanted. I want people to notes my bike, not the government permission slip I have bolted to the back.

Product arrived quickly, was priced fairly, and was an actual Custom Dynamics part not a knock off. Overall very happy with it. I did Have to add washers to hold the plate on the head of the ones provided just go through the plate.

Great product but my Alberta license plate is big for this unit. I can only put the 2 top nut n bolt in and I used Velcro to secure the bottom part of the license plate to prevent the plate from rattling while driving. Overall it’s a very nice fit on my 2018 48. It gives the back fender a sleek look. If you don’t mind not having the bottom plate bolted down than this product will do. I’m really happy I got this unit bcuz the oem plate holder didn’t go with the flow of the bike. Great product n highly recommended!!!

Definitivamente, la base original para la placa de Sportster es una basura. Esta base está genial, le da un nuevo aspecto a la parte trasera de la moto. Vino con un leve daño en la parte interior, pero ya puesta la placa ni se nota. Eso si, en mi Estado las placas son más grandes, así que tuve que hacer unas perforaciones a la lámina para que casara con los orificios de la base.
