This item shattered with such force it threw sparks at me and nearly took out my eye if it was not for my MADE IN THE USA SAFETY GLASSES I WOULD BE BLIND. DO NOT PURCHASE AS THE CHAIN BAR PUSH ROD IS CHEAPLY MADE. And I never got a refund even though I returned the item.

Not only will this chain breaker break the chain, it will press the master links together as well. I made a better tool kit for my TW200 and this chain breaker is in it.

Needed to replace original chain on 2007 vt750dc and that required a chain break tool and this did the trick.

It’s good for maybe two chain link breaks. Chain break rod doesn’t turn straight, handle is too wimpy to get good torque on. I got it to get the job done but overall Chinese crap. Should really come for free with a chain. Spend the extra $10 and find one that will last for awhile.

I used this product on a #35 chain and the rod that pushes the pin out of the link doesn’t push straight and instead wiggles all over the place in a fixed screwing axis almost. So expect your links to be squished, and then crushed all while that lovely sound of scraping metal is occurring to remind you your chain is being destroyed. Looking for another tool currently
