Learn Paper Tole DVD 2 Feathering & Furring Techniques with Andrea Vance

Had some really good tips and made the whole prospect of feathering and furring a lot less intimidating.

I purchased both this DVD and Disc 1. I am not sure why either of them have 5 star ratings. First off, you certainly do not get $29.99 worth of value on the disc....there is literally 4x more time spent on showing completed projects in their gallery than there is on instruction. While Andrea does say what to do, there are not nearly enough close ups on the technique...rather everything is pretty much shot from a 12 foot distance, centered on her and the workspace. Instead of actually moving the camera angle so you can see what she is doing, most of the time she holds a piece up towards the camera and then pantomimes the technique. You get a general idea of what to do but you don't actually see it as she is doing it. There is roughly 10 minutes of decent instruction on each technique and she repeats many redundant steps...which IMO, wastes instruction time. For example at the start of each Technique, she demonstrates how to mount the base print. When you are on an "Advanced Techniques" lesson, you shouldn't be spending time going over the 1st and most basic steps.....especially not 2 times in 20 minutes. I am very unhappy with this disc and I will not ever buy another one from these guys. I have seen much better, free, videos on YouTube.
