I’m a trailside cook. I like real food. So I make real home style meals in a mess kit. This is my main use stove. It’s simple and it works. You can’t ask for more than that.

When folded the burner is very compact and light and fits into the included holder which I then put in my small camp pot set for traveling. It's a simple device, but appears to be constructed. I used it on a recent motorcycle camping trip and it heats up a small pot of water or stew very quickly. No issues really.

This seems to be as light as you can find for a reliable thru hiking stove. Combined with a Toaks or similar titanium pot, you can easily have a hot water setup for under a pound (including gas canister). By the way, I understand this to be no different from the BSR stove that is quite popular.Functionally, it works, though it's not super efficient. It's a bit noisy, but I find it to be much quieter than the popular MSR stoves, though not as efficient. The price makes a difference, it would seem. The arms have also loosened up noticeably after only a few months of regular use. They don't really "snap" into place, but at least there's a "shelf" where they can rest while holding weight. Speaking of which, be extra careful as it has only three points of contact spanning a small area so it can easily lead to a spill. I could also see potential improvement in allowing the adjustment pin to fold up in line with the arms for stowing. As it is, the valve has to be open slightly to fold it up neatly. This leads to gas waste if you don't tighten the valve closed before attaching to the gas canister.Most importantly, this thing is tiny and light. I don't bother with the plastic container. I can fit a 110 gram canister, lighter, and this stove snugly inside a 650ml Toaks titanium pot.

You really do get a lot for your money with this stove. Most importantly, note that it has several wind deflectors on the burner. This means that if one or even a few go are blown out with the wind, the angle and arrangement of the others will prevent the whole stove from going out. This is not found on other stoves. One or two that cost three times the price have one or two deflectors but these aren’t as effective as this one. Get this stove- its awesome

I found my new favorite light weight camp stove! It is super light. It is the same weight as the BRS 3000T but has thicker arms and much better flame control. You can SIMMER with this stove! It turns down to the strength of a dying tea candle. I am so happy about this feature! The price is also amazing.

Bought for my dad, he said it works great. Heats up really well, perfect size and weight for his hiking gear because he was trying to lighten the load as much as possible and this added next to nothing to it.

i did a side by side with the 'MSR pocketrocket 2'. the quality is the same. but the 'Gas one' stove is 40% the size and half the wt.the stove in its round case is about 70% sz of a D cell battery. with out the casse it wt is .08oz! yes not even an ounce.this can easily be carried in a fanny pack much less a daypack!holds the cookware as sturday is all the other stoves i compared to and better then some

My daughter went on her first primitive camping trip. We bought this stove that is smaller than a roll of doggy poop bags when it is in its case. It is easy to unfold and attach to the fuel source. It is incredibly light weight, easy to light, and had great performance. There are brand name stoves like this for over twice the cost, but so far, we don't see a reason to pay more. This thing is light, powerful, and reliable.
