Knipex Tools 13 72 8 Forged Wire Stripper, 8-Inch

Out of all knipex pliers I own, these are my top favourite.

If you’re debating on getting this or still comforting the idea of struggling with your current strippers, don’t. Save yourself some time now, and money in the future, cause these are worth it. Great reviews on here but let me mention a few other things that aren’t so popular. 1) A spring is hidden on the inside of these strippers, hence the lock helps keep these closed. I know some ppl remove springs/hate them so I wanted to point this out as it’s unremovable (to my knowledge). 2) Depending on what strippers you are currently using, it may take a while to get used to. It’s balanced but it took me about a day to really be comfortable with them (coming from Milwaukee 7in1). 3) Don’t let the teeth fool you, this will not replace your linesman. Not enough leverage to splice four #12 solid wire together. Four was a struggle after some slipping, but possible, but three was definitely cleaner and easier. 4) Knipex is 10-18 solid & 12-20 stranded, as opposed to what I had on my Milwaukee 7in1, 8-18 solid & 10-20 stranded. So depending on what wires you run into on a daily, you might need an extra pair of strippers in ur bag but this will cover most common sizes. I would still highly recommend these, and would recommend the comfort grips over the red dipped.

Excelentes pinzas para electricista. Permite pelar perfectamente cables de los calibres especificados. Las puntas de pinza permiten torcer los cables perfectamente y tiene un gran agarre. Con el hueco redondo en la punta se pueden hacer los ganchos en el alambre muy bien. Las cuchillas de corte son extraordinarias y el sistema de corte de tornillos funciona perfectamente. El resorte de apertura y el sistema de bloqueo son las únicas partes con las que tengo un pequeño inconveniente. El sistema de bloqueo deja tantito abiertas las pinzas, nada grave pero no me encanta y el resorte a veces no abre las pinzas lo suficiente para introducir por arriba un cable de calibre 12 o mayor y necesita una ayudadita. He probado múltiples pinzas para pelar de electricista y estas hacen el trabajo no solo de las pinzas para pelar sino también el de las pinzas de electricista normales. La calidad de manufactura es excelente: lo esperado de Knipex.
