These are a pair of socks that come in a crunchy cellophane bag - unnecessary - and sit in Xmas-themed gift box that is stuck down on all 4 sides with sellotape and that says Novelty Socks on it. Neither the tape nor the cellophane are needed and spoil what would otherwise have been a relatively green gift. As it is, the packaging is straight for the bin, which is a pity, as it is sturdy enough to be reused as a stationery box.The socks themselves are fine, the type that you can walk around barefoot in, as the print on the sole is the grippy type. But, they are way, way overpriced. These are worth about £4 at most, packaging included, so they're not something I would recommend at this price and because of all of the unnecessary packaging. And, they come up small - there's no way this pair of Men's socks will fit anything bigger than a UK 6-8 Men's size.

These novelty socks arrived packaged in a light Christmas-themed box and look like they’re ready to be gifted.I was going to give these to my Dad (he’s always gaming) but I decided to keep them for myself as I like them!These are a generous size – I wear a UK size 7-8 shoe and these fit me like socks sized at 6-11, so they should fit a variety of people.The gaming motif is actually slightly non-slip like you get on the base of slipper socks, which helps if you have tiled floors.These are a good quality pair of novelty socks in a presentable box. Currently retailing at £8.99, they do seem a little expensive for one pair. I did notice there's a voucher available to apply at the moment making them around £7 - I think this makes them good value.

At £9.99 you might be thinking that’s a bit steep. In reality it’s not bad for a gift, the socks are packed in a nice quality gift box and the sock itself is very well made and more like a normal sock than a slipper sock type of thing. The sock is made from tight weave cotton with good stitching -basically it’s not your typical novelty sock it’s more like a decent dress sock with words stuck on the bottom. The rubbery wording is bright and well fixed to the sock. The fitting could be a bit looser as putting these over existing socks will be snug.These will make a great present and get 4 stars because although the quality is very high (it really is for a novelty item) the price is a high and these are more like normal socks than slipper socks

I am always a bit sceptical about novelty socks as they come one size but these are great. The material is quite stretchy so they will fit a good range of sizes. The top of the socks has just a small ribbed part and neatly finished off and the same with the toes.The writing says, Do not disturb, ( with a game controller underneath the writing) and the writing on the bottom.of the other sock says I am busy gaming.The writing is in a sort of rubbery material. It will help grip on floors and hopefully not peel off. I like the socks they are much better than I thought they would be. Nice little sticking filler for Xmas gamers.

I got these socks for my husband who is an avid gamer and they will be one of his Christmas stocking fillers.I have a saying that you never can wrong with socks. These are really fun. The price was really affordable. These are really comfortable and the thickness is really great. The softness of the socks is great. They come in surprisingly nice packaging which is super easy to wrap. They are of great quality with a non-slip design. The socks are warm and have no loose stitching at the seams.They are funny, functional and an amazing way to express the love for the hobbies that make us all unique.

At £8.99 for 1 pair, these are quite expensive and I doubt many people would purchase them for themselves - they really are more of a 'gift' novelty sock. 🧦They come nicely boxed which does make them more giftable.The socks are black and with strong wording which is easy to read from a distance -one has 'I'm busy gaming'and the other is 'Do not disturb.'They are suitable for sizes 6-12 but personally I would suggest they are more 6-10, as they would be a little tighter on the bigger feet!Overall a great, fun gift.

Here’s the first thing I’ve bought for my son’s Christmas stocking this year. Not too serious but fun. They come in a nice presentation box with a Christmassy design.The socks are not too thick, not too thin - nice and warm for leisure socks. The fun wording in the bottom is made of a puffy, textured silicone which gives them good grip to wear around the house, even on laminate and tiled floors but make them too thick in the sole put shoes on over them. But you wouldn’t want to really because then you hide the wording.A fun little gift for a gamer.

We ordered these for my 11 year old brother.They come in a lovely gift box and are nicely presented inside.They floor him really well, I think they would be a struggle to get in a adult man especially around the ankleThe writing is slightly raised and rubber like texture on the bottom providing anti slip.The socks are soft and well made.The wash well in the machine and the writing want lifted after about 5 washes so hopefully it stays on.The only negative is I think they are slightly expensive for one pair of socks
