Pricey but worth it
I visited Greece in July and although I am a type 1 diabetic and avoid carbs, I couldn't help myself and enjoyed pasta while we were there. What I didn't expect was that the pasta didn't spike my blood sugar like all the pasta I've eaten in the states. We took a cooking class and when I mentioned this to the chef, he explained that their pasta is made different, with a different kind of flour and no preservatives like you will find in almost all American foods. I wanted to recreate the pasta I had and not suffer from all the carbs so I purchased this pasta. It did not disappoint! I had such a fun shape and texture and it did not spike my blood sugar. It is pricey but worth it every once in a while!!
