I bought this is a reminder for myself that time flows no matter what and that it is pointless to think about the past because you will waste you present and also your future. It's beautiful. The purple sand and everything. I keep it at my desk as a reminder. However, I did feel that the quality could have been better especially of the wood. The finishing of the wood is not that great when you look at it up close.
