I'm 5'8" and ride daily for exercise. Use full leg extension to get maximum benefit. Have to keep BOTH seat posts set at their MAX insertion point to get full leg extension 9and in fact don't quite get that on the Step-Over model because the pedals sit higher off the ground). So if you're taller than 5'*' AND insist on using on using full leg extension while riding (like I do) I'd personally opt for a longer seatpost. Other than that, the Zoom DJC suspension seatpost is awesome. And BTW, when you sit down on the seat the shock absorber compresses 1"-2" (mine averages 1.5" compression). Need to take that into account when purchasing a suspension post. **Q: Does anyone know how this compares to the suspension seatpost included in the Lectric Comfort Pack?** A: I purchased this to use on my Radcity power bike. I like it, as far as it compares to Lectric suspension post the DJC bike post has a 30 Lbs. higher rating and it has a 1/4 inch more travel. It also comes with different size sleeves to fit a variety of bike mounting holes. And most important it is about 50 dollars cheaper when purchased separately. **Q: I just installed the post on my bike, made few clockwise turns (tighten) but seat just sunk, cant feel rebound. I weigh 150 lbs. Suggestion please** A: hi friend, the first days it is a little hard. but after you ride with it 1-2 weeks, the spring will softer. try to ride it more times. you will feel better. **Q: My seat post says 31.8 will the 31.6 work? Anything more than 275mm and you may struggle. *by L***S on 24 November 2022* Seems to work fine. Put it on a hardtail MTB and it does make a difference (although it's indistinguishable from that feeling when you are just about getting a rear wheel puncture). Look out for the exposed length of your current seatpost. This is NOT 400mm it's 350mm and you have to have a minimum inserted in the frame of about 75mm.
