Great customer service - sprayer sent to me
We've been using this company's Deer Out product with success for over a decade; highly recommend (even with the new formulation, still must reapply after rain)(the only time the deer get any plants are when I forget to do this). We need Critter Out now - I can't review that yet, as we have not used it enough to review. We received Critter Out missing the sprayer (which was pictured). Through Amazon, I was led to Deer Out's customer service phone # and website. I left a message as well as sent an an email about the missing sprayer. Turns out they are aware of this issue, happens at Amazon Warehouse (Deer Out even tapes the sprayer securely to the containers, but still, the sprayers don't get sent). They were very apologetic and shipped me a sprayer without extra charge.

The jury is still out on this
The jury is still out on this purchase this based on reviews it does smell good right now September 24 not 100% that it is working 100% seems to be OK in the car but sprayed around and on a plastic trashcan with a lid in my shed that I keep deer food in and for the first time in years The mice actually ate through the lid to get to the food which they had never even bothered with before

Does Not Work
I have purchased this it two times and have been using for over three months. I thought it was working but in the past few days I have seen a few mice. I thought this was guaranteed to work. I am very disappointed and felt very uncomfortable. I am a 69 year old, who lives alone and do not feel comfortable with mice running around. I bend over backwards to make sure my abode is very clean. Do not have roaches and bugs in my home. I feel that if this not working after 3 months of use, it's not going to work. The mice are running over the areas that have been heavily treated.

Doesn't smell like peppermint
Smells bad. Not like peppermint at all.

So far it is working.
Second time I bought this. My cars have had expensive repairs due to rats eating wires in the engine. Since last repair a few weeks ago I haven’t seen evidence of nests. I think it has to be sprayed often to keep the smellfresh. The smell is not horribly bad to tolerate. Kind of a chemical peppermint smell. Better smell than that of dead rat stuck in the AC system. Or rat droppings and pee smell inside the car. And certainly better than having a live rat come out the dash board while I’m driving. I hope it continues to be effective.

Review
The smell is too strong. It will make the rodents go away. Its better to spray this outside around your house. Unfortunately you still need to use a mice or rat trap for those rodents that are inside your house. I tried to spray this inside of our house but it only gives me headache. The mice didn't show up for a couple of days but as soon as the smell fades, mice came back again.

Did this work for me?
I am not "dissing" this product but it did not work for me. There are reviews that state that some have had success with Critter Out and research shows that there are some aroma's that deter mice. I have spent over $60. on this product and another $30. for Fresh Cab. I used the product diligently, everywhere imaginable, for 2 1/2 weeks. I have gone through almost 2 gallons of the spray At first I noticed a reduction in droppings only for them to increase again after several days. It seems that the mice became used to the scent. I had hoped to be able to give rave reviews because our mouse problem is huge. Calling an exterminator seems to be unacceptable because of pets and children. As I write this we are in the process of looking for any holes or openings where the mice are entering our home and will make an effort to seal up anything and everywhere that we can. I continue to do research on the web for any and all suggestions. Apparently this is a very common problem but many of us are struggling to find a solution. I have spent a lot of dollars on assorted traps, sonic devices and now this spray repellent. Perhaps our infestation is too great for this to be effective. Good luck to all!
