This is much more beautiful on my table than viewing it online. Please be aware that any liquid spilled will go through these placemats as the design appeared to be laser cut. I have placed really thin, clear chopping mats that I'd purchased at DT underneath this placemats. They are not as long as these placemats but you can purchase clear placemats on Amazon too or use cheap painter's plastic sheeting cut to size of these placemats. You can also use any other placemats to sit beneath these placemats but realize that the color of placemats will show through.

I love that you can see the table cloth through the mat. They're large and thin, only decorative. They seem sturdy enough for multiple usage. Wipe clean with a damp cloth. I love the unique look for my Summer table!

These placemats are the perfect thickness. Not too thick making plates wobbly & not too thin risking ripping. I wouldn't recommend using a charger plate on them as it would hide all of the glorious detail!

This mat is very thin…it looks beautiful & if you want to know what it feels like think of a silicone baking sheet…it’s thinner than that.The color is just like pictured.

I thought I was ordering a gold leaf the color is nowhere near gold but because it was an orange color I kept it and match the tablecloth
