The zinc oxide base is hard to remove from fabric.Scrape off excess zinc cream with a butter knife. Move the knife across the cream and tilt the blade of the knife upward to avoid rubbing the cream further into the fabric fibers. Pour baking soda over the stain to absorb the oil in the zinc cream. Place enough over the stain that it covers it completely. Let the baking soda sit on the stain for at least four hours. Wipe the baking soda off the fabric with a clean cloth or paper towel.Pour laundry soap directly onto the stain and rub the soap into the fiber of the fabric with your fingers. Let the laundry soap sit on the stain for at least four hours. Fill your sink with hot water. Place about 1 tbsp. of laundry detergent into the water. Submerge your stained item in the hot water and let it soak for about 30 minutes. Drain the hot water from the sink and rinse out the stained item with hot water to remove the soap and any other residue.Fill up your sink with white vinegar. Let the stained item sit in the white vinegar for about 15 minutes.Wash your item in warm water. Inspect it after washing to see if the stain is gone. If it is, dry as usual. If it isn't, repeat the soaking and rinsing process until the stain is gone and then dry as usual.

Is it good for keloids?

I have no idea since It’s use was recommended for a much different problem (which it was very effective for). I really like this product and am so happy it was recommended by my MD specialist.

What ingredient in it has caused it to be on California’s prop 65 list?

These are the ingredients I found on Wikipedia that are found in Calmoseptine: Lanolin 15.7%; Menthol 0.44%; Petrolatum 24%; Zinc Oxide 20.6%. I know of no reason for this product to be on CA’s Prop 65 list.
