Bought this for my sister and she really likes it - she's a nurse and uses it when trying to sleep during the day coming off nightshift. Also uses it when travelling.

Took getting used to, but great if you are travelling and getting to sleep is difficult

i don't find it comfortable , much prefer small silk type eye mask. personal preference here maybe

First of all, this cushioned eye mask is incredibly comfortable to wear, for an afternoon nap, or at night; lovely soft foam around the eyes and nose. Now the clever bit, first charge the small inner battery, a small cable is tucked inside, the charge took about 2 hours and I am still using them on that initial charge a week later. When fully charged I need to pair them with any device that has Bluetooth; I've connected with both my phone and small tablet; through these devices I can now listen to music, or my favourite audiobooks, whilst resting, relaxing, or in bed before sleeping. Two speakers in the Velcro fastening side straps, have these small speakers encased in them, and produces a perfectly clear sound for music or the spoken word. This sound is very clear to myself, wearing the eye mask, but doesn't annoy anyone else, even when I'm sleeping next to one another.I haven't been on holiday for the last couple of years but I'm sure this mask will be ideal for whiling away a few hours whilst flying, or travelling by coach.I am really pleased with this eye mask; my partner is also using one at night, so this is the second one I have purchased. The simple press buttons on the centre of the mask adjust the volume, even skipping tracks of music, if required; I have only used them a few times as I adjusted the settings for myself, they work well. The mask comes in a very nice black velvet drawstring bag.Really comfortable to wear, very good sound quality, very pleased.

Sleep mask was easy to setup once I worked out I wasn't breaking the strap by pulling off the velcro covering material.I think the buttons on the mask will be tricky to use as I don't see how you can easily tell which is the centre one by touch. I've used the phone itself to adjust volume.I wanted to use the sleep timer but it seems like a loud "power off" voice always happens when it is switching off. This voice is at a louder volume than the media being played so jars you awake. If there is a way of turning the voice off then it would be ideal.I'm a side sleeper and I did find it getting a little uncomfortable with the speaker pressure on my ear but I think some more adjusting will help with that.For the money it's good value. It would be excellent if there was a way to stop the "power off" voice.

This was not expensive but the speakers well well when I use them. Even with the speakers they are comfortable - of note here is that I mainly lie on my side when I sleep so they do not generally get knocked off. 100% blackout, which I need. At the moment (late July) I tend to wake up around 5 with light coming round the side of the curtains so that it when I put the mask on, and it helps me get back to sleep - without them I only lapse in and out.

This is a great addition to anyone who uses mindfulness apps or even audiobooks, it cuts you off from the world and lets you really immerse yourself in the process. And it is a tech product from Amazon that actually works...
