My kitty spent 1 week in the hospital and $4000 later- I was told not to feed him any dry food.) The vet also told me to feed my 12 lb. kitty two 3 oz. cans of food a day. This amount can be divided into 4 portions. More than 2 cans, if your cat is not active, will cause weight gain. Cats love this food and they are experts at manipulation and begging! Keep a watch on their weight. If they are gaining- decrease amount. If losing weight- slightly increase amount fed. **Q: is it pate?** A: The Chicken Variety pack is not All Pate. The Grilled & Roasted are not same consistency as Pate.
