The silicone pink cleaning tool is awesome and the microdermabrasion tool is almost as awesome lol
I got this and kept the boxes because I was concerned, would I notice enough of an effect/ Would I use it enough/ would it be easy enough/ to use to warrant the pricetag? Well, I kept the system, for me those requirements were met. This is a very particular tool for those who are willing to add ten minutes to their regular skin care routine. For a person that has a skin care routine! Night one was late so I just used the pink vibrating skin cleaning tool. It's unlike anything I've ever used before so I wasn't sure if I would get used to the new technique... but my skin felt great. So great I started using it in the shower. It would even remove the goo my medical patches leave behind. That's huge because no amount of scrubbing with any brush/ wash cloth/ loofah/ scrubby (even the guy's Axe body scrubber tool) would get the goo off which was frustrating. I have to either take time to scratch at my skin, typically causing a little rawness and bleeding or use a strange chemical prescribed to me that removes the goo wonderfully, but worried me due to the chemically smell. So the tool became indispensable to my skin care routine for my face and body! I love the feeling after I wash, and I've used skin brushes, buff pads e.t.c before, this is the best imho. The microdermabrasion device looks complicated and you need to buy refillable felt pads which I wasn't aware of needing. Oh and the diamond tips, even with proper care, will eventually need replacing. That being said, it's easy. The first time you read the instructions you might feel a bit daunted, then you use it using the guided/ timed mode and realize... wait... using that mode is all you need to remember. It literally guides you through what area of the face top focus in and for how long. Wash face, dry, turn on the device, follow instructions and finish in no time. I begin with the large cap and do the guided method first. Don't worry if the device tells you to move on before you're ready, go ahead and keep up with the program because for best results in my experience, you go a second time with the tiny head/ cap thingie. (Three heads are included, large and small diamond tipped then a smooth one they refer to add a massaging tip. I have not used that tip so I can't offer any feedback on it) While doing guided method with the large diamond head I struggle in certain areas. My forehead is the worst, it's skin pulled across your skull. Unless you have extra skin there it's tough to get the large head to suction, also positioning the head properly on your skin is difficult too. The skin beside your nose and a couple other spots, all are tough to really get into without using the little diamond head. It's fun removing the little felt piece after each session, I think a lot of us secretly enjoy the satisfaction of seeing icky stuff cleaned out of our pores. This is fun to see all that dead skin sitting on layers of itself. Lol. Running my clean hand over my skin lets me feel the smooth, soft, clean feeling. Initially, after completing my face, the skin is pretty red and kinda tight feeling but I use a hot washcloth to relax everything then apply the suggested serum that's included. I love how my skin looks and feels. I've been doing this once a week for now. That's a good place to start imho. I got this during a prime deal. Well with the cost, I'm pleased with the results! The redness goes away quickly! It doesn't make hickies on your skin I was concerned it would and last night I actually sort of tried to give myself one as in I was using this on my neck and wasn't gentle as I am usually. I wasn't flung anything the next day so I figured this was a good time to really get in there and make my lines close together, carefully going around my chest port. Nope! No hickey or lasting redness. This morning I woke with great looking/ feeling skin. Pricey? Yes. Everything involving skincare is. I take really good care of my skin but wanted to amp that up preparing for when my skin begins to show wrinkles and sagging. Plus sometimes my skin gets dull from being in bed sick for days on end with my illness. Taking a lot of meds and loving coke a cola also can't help lol. Cute random things. The charging base for the face cleaner is nice. Plug it in and when you want to charge your silicone brushy thing just toss it onto that base, it seats on the charger easily with the help of little magnets. I charge maybe once every 2 weeks, this thing has a great battery. I'm using mine for whole body in the shower (oh, it's super waterproof which is nice) at night and a quick use in the morning to help stimulate my face getting rid of the sleepiness. So, to me, that's impressive. The actual microdermabrasion tool has a charger that cradles the tool. It's a tad awkward but once you get used to it you will be a pro and have no issues. Cons Not huge getting used to the silicone vibrating brush may take awhile. Is a fairly awkward rounded triangle with each tip having a bunch of dots that vary in size. If I can offer any advice it's that you will be holding one of the sides in your fingers while tilting the rest of the triangle into your skin. This entire triangle won't be flat against your skin even tho you might tend to try that. Once mastered you can do the crevasses next to your nose super easily! I've read a lot about how the microdermabrasion tool doesn't have overcharge protection on it. So I put it on the charger at night and first thing when I wake up I take it off. I don't charge with each use but don't want to get stuck with half of my face done and a dead tool so I charge every 3 uses. It's annoying that I need to put so much thought into how I charge this or I will kill my unit within months. I'm super nervous about that. I'm debating setting up a smart outlet and having the charger set on a timer so I won't worry about forgetting and leaving it on all day. Well, that's most of it! Sorry for the long review but I wanted to be helpful and I'm reviewing two devices really... so that can be long. I'm happy to answer questions if you have them and I always update if something changes. I use reviews to make my decision on every purchase I make, so I try to give back and make helpful and honest reviews to help others. If this was helpful please hit thumbs up. I like to know if I'm being helpful. These reviews take a lot of time to write so if no one reads them then I should stick to short less in depth reviews lol. "This is awesome, I recommended it, good luck!" / the end LOL. Oh, last thought, I haven't seen how much the supplies cost to reorder (little felt pads, serum, eventually the tips). If I feel like they are ridiculous like printer ink I will update this. Thanks!

Great matching!
This product works as advertised. I was an esthetician for a while working with the big microderm machines. This one is a great one for home. I am still on level 1 with mine and the exfoliating power is great. I have seen a big difference in my skin appearance in the past few weeks I have been using it. For anyone using this sunscreen is a must to maintain that healthy skin. I love the 2 attachments this machine comes with. To be honest the small attachment works really well for the entire face. When I get to my chest and neck I do use the larger attachment. When using this machine on your cheeks make sure to tighten your skin towards your hairline for better suction and to keep from getting those red circles from your skin getting sucked into the machine. This is a 4 satar product for sure for my 46 year old skin

I did not receive a quality product
I've had this product for more than a year, but I've not been a consistent user. If I had to guess, I'd say that I used 3 or more 4 times a month until it stopped worker a few months ago. The electronics still work, the image appears and the timer counts down, but the motor no longer runs. At least now I understand the concept of microdermabrasion. It's like when you run a vacuum hose over your arm. The suction pulls your skin into the host and pressure is applied to your skin where the edges of the plastic hose meet your skin. This is the same concept, except the part where your skin meets the "hose" is like sandpaper. So, as you move the device over your face, the abrasive area scrapes off skin cells and the machine sucks those into an unsophisticated little piece of felt "filter." I guess I can buy into the concept, but I guess my experiment has come to an end. I never dropped the device or anything, it just stopped working. I will say that I didn't love the shape of the device. It's awkward to hold in your non-dominant hand and I found that I often turned it off unintentionally because of the placement of the buttons and the need to grip the device to pull it across your face. Overall, I'm calling this a very expensive experiment given how long the device lasted for me.

Decent microdermabrasion gadget
So, after having a salon microdermabrasion done several times (almost $500 ago) decided to purchase this particular one for several reasons. First, the suction at max setting is comparable to most salon machines, based on a review of several different home machines. Second, it uses diamond rather than crystal heads, and finally, who wants to pay in the excess of hundred bucks for every treatment....my experience is that even at the maximum setting, the GLO system is much more gentle than salon treatment....in terms on how it felt during the procedure. Also, my skin was substantially more red after the salon treatment. However, next day, I couldn’t tell much difference between the two treatments....which is good. The skin was smooth and radiant and noticed neck wrinkles and crow feet are less visible. For the reference, I’m 48yrs old...skin looks younger....no doubt. It’s possible that the salon treatment is more powerful and as such having a greater impact and therefore needs to be repeated within weeks or months, whereas GLO is more gentle but can be and maybe should be done 1-2 per week....I have the feeling that the final result is more less the same, and at much better price. The device works well, it’s easy to set it up and use it in either auto or manual mode. It comes with two identical diamond heads, a bunch of filers (20 or 30 pcs) and a very short instructional booklet. Eventually the heads, the filters and an O ring will have to purchased, as those are consumables. I do think the manufacturer could have added more technical information on suction strength for each of the settings, about how the whole the thing works and what does it do....yes, we can find all that online. Anyhow, the booklet and device screen offer good enough guidance on how to use it on a specific area of the skin. For now I give it 4 star since I only used it once since I received it last week and want to see how long it lasts....there is 1yr manufacturing warranty so I guess I’m giving it a 5th star for that.

Great performance for price
Great performance, especially for the price. I’ve had professional facials before but honestly don’t have time or money for regular appointments. I was skeptical about this thing, but for at home maintenance, it’s fantastic. I was impressed with both the suction power and abrasive ends. It’s easy to use and hold a charge for a really long time. I’m not a review person, but I felt like this one deserved it. I’ve had it several months now and would absolutely buy it again.

Happy with this Purchase of the Microderm GLO
I was not given a free or reduced price on the Microderm Glo to review it. I also don't review things often. I really like the Microderm Glo and let me tell you why. Before purchasing the GLO, which I was really impressed with the reviews and was my first choice, I changed my mind at the last minute and purchased a Kendal SF02 for $235 from Amazon. I received it and the manual was not the correct one for the machine so I watched a couple of YouTube videos to figure it out. It was big, but it as the "professional" so I was sure it would do the job. I connected the hose to the filter to the machine and put all the different size cotton filters in the correct places and turned it on. Put it to my skin and nothing. No suction. I turned it to maximum and still no suction. That machine got packaged up and returned with a note in the box describing the malfunction. I instantly order the NUVEDERM MICRDERM GLO. It arrived in a timely manner. It is a small hand-held device that fits on the counter. It charged in a little less than 3 hours. I was so excited to try it, I didn't think to put the filter in the tip until after I did my face. They thought of it for me and the little gray cotton filter was there at first start-up. Thank you for that. I have used the machine twice. The first time on level 2 power. The second time on level 3 power. The suction is fantastic. The diamond tip does not have the same amount of abrasion as the tips that came with the Kendal, but I'm okay with that. I ordered two new tips from Nuvederm along with a large package of filters. I am very happy with this purchase. I am 57 and after my second treatment, some fine lines beginning on my upper lip are much less noticeable. I also purchased a small face steamer that sits nicely on the bath vanity. This is what I do: I wash my face, use the steamer, wash again using the Clairisonic Mia (purchased at Macys), pat dry, use the GLO, rinse, pat dry, apply a clay mask, let sit for 15 minutes, wash off the mask, apply Clinique clarifying lotion, moisturize with niacinamide serum, let that get absorbed and then use a moisturizer, drink lots of water (mineral water), and go to sleep. The GLO appears to have enough power to do the job yet is safe if you plan to use it a couple of times a week like I do. It is so easy to use. It sits nicely on the vanity so it is not a hassle at all. It takes one filter so no major hookups or different size cotton filters to keep track of. Easy to order additional tips and filters. The instructions that came with it were the correct instructions to go with the device and are in English. What more could you ask for.

Bad service but a great product!
I don’t like writing bad reviews but I don’t want other people to waste their money. I really loved this product BUT it stopped charging properly after a couple of months. I reached out to support and it took a while to get the first response. The service employee emailed back saying she was escalating to her manager for help and I haven’t heard back since. It’s been over two weeks now, and I have included a follow up message asking for an update. There are lots of other products that you could get with the same features - hopefully their support teams are better!!

Instructions with each use. GLO is a better way to go!
No amount of face wash or product I was putting on my face was working. High end : low end. It didn't matter. My dry, flaky, dull skin was now making it impossible to use make-up. I decided to try at home microdermabrasion. I had a lower end device before purchasing the GLO system. Unfortunately I was too aggressive with my less expensive system because it wasn't doing the job. I temporarily damaged my skin. Glo is a better product but it made the difference for me for two reasons: First, GLO provides and LED display of a face with arrows on it that shows me the right way to use the the device one area at a time. Secondly it automatically times out to prevent overuse ( very important ) on each area of my face. For me, I found by following the instructions and relying on the timer that is built into this products LED display, I can get maximum results without damaging my skin. It has 3 suction settings. Even with my crazy flaky skin I am still using the lowest setting. Glo lifts the dry skin on my face sort of like a snow drift which I wash away with water and wipe gently with a cloth. I use one filter for each session and would recommend ordering a bag of 100 filters when you buy GLO. The suction pulls the clog in my pores to the surface of my skin for easier extraction with a tool. So, I follow the great instruction built right into the device and follow up with a really good serum and moisturizer. A good serum and cream is a must in my experience. After the very first use my face was pretty silky feeling! I have used this system twice a week with an occasional touch up around my problem area (which is my nose) and my skin is cleaner, smoother feeling, smoother looking and definitely allowing my serum and moisturizer to do a better job. This is a must have item for me now. I just purchased a higher end serum and moisturizer because these products can actually do their job now! A little goes a long way now that I'm using GLO.

100% satisfied
I was very surprised how good this product is I have use this twice now last and this week. I use to do regular microdermabrasion in my local beauty salon every month for the last 12 months and I was happy however it cost a lot money. This is a grate for me as I can do it in a comfort of my own home and I can do I more often, effects is same good as the one in the beauty salon, so simple to use! Please make sure you buy good quality moisturiser and soothing products like cream and masks. Please moisturise, moisturise moisturise! You need to make sure your follow do and don’ts after your Microdermabrasion as if you don’t moistures probably you won’t see any good results and you can end up with very dry skin! I 100% recommend this to everyone who already have done microdermabrasion in beauty salon and understand how your skin reacts to mechanical pealing.
