So I have this old tv but it works great. We had used it so much that you could no longer see the numbers and letters. This is the only reason we bought a new one. Great product

once I received the remote I put in the batteries and immediately it was working. no programming was necessary which is what I like and what I wanted. the remote is as if it is the original remote that came with the television at the time of purchase. very satisfied with my purchase!

Our old remote succumbed to the Phoenix heat and exploded batteries didn’t help which happens as a result of normal use. We were living without a remote which gave my kid a taste of how I grew up, until I found this remote. It works and looks identical to our old remote. No problems at all. Now we are back in 2019.

When our dog chewed up the remote that came with our TV a couple of years ago, I grabbed the cheapest universal remote I could find to replace it. From the beginning, it was an annoyance, because the buttons on it didn't quite line up properly with our TV's options, so some things that were easy on the original remote took several hits on the new one, plus some things were totally unintuitive. Then my husband dropped the cheapo remote and it broke for good. Not wanting another crappy replacement, I did a little research and, lo and behold, for $10 more I could get the actual original remote model that came with the TV! I jumped on it, and it's been *great*. The whole thing is better-constructed, the buttons press more smoothly, all the options are in places that make sense. It's just like the original. That remote lasted over seven years, and was going strong before the dog decided it looked like a chew toy, unlike the cheapo version that broke after only two, so I'm sure this one will be just as durable.

We ordered a remote that looked just like our old one that had started to fail. As soon as batteries were inserted, it worked perfectly. The favorite buttons even brought up our favorites without our having to do anything with them. We are extremely pleased.

I ordered wrong one. Thank you for quick replacement but still wrong one. I did put batteries in both, no power, they did not work. Hope third one does

This remote works okay, but definitely not great. When you use it, you have to point it directly at the TV, and sometimes have to press the button a few times to get it to work. I would probably send it back if I hadn't waited so long to decide. I had thought it was the batteries I initially put in, which I had pilfered from something else, but it's still doing it with brand new batteries.

this was a 20+ year old TV I had bought back then to use as a computer monitor part time. That didn't work do well. TV shelved for decades. New day, I thought about using a TV as video for an 10 yr old spec mini Lenovo. It wasn't a happy idea, and I ended up getting a new low end 32" from Best Buy a half mile away. BUT this remote DID turn on the tv; without a video signal (I have no cable or anything like it), however the tv didn't seem to 2 want to accept an HDMI signal from the 'puter and the remote wasn't able to solve this. But I was surprised to find a working remote for a 20+ year old TV. And it worked better than the original even with freesh batteries.
