Hello, My husband just put together our COMOMY, black, metal gate to keep our dogs in the Family Room & Kitchen area, without being able to go into the Living Room or upstairs into the bedrooms.We are so happy we selected this gate! There were so many to choose from it was challenging to find the best one, but I think we made an EXCELLENT choice with COMOMY.Here are our reasons why:1. The gate arrived in 2 days as promised. It also arrived in perfect condition with the few remaining parts ALL THERE. (That’s a miracle in itself these days.)2. My husband put it together in less than 10 MINUTES. The only “tools” he used were 2, 8” metal bars (of the same dimensions) to temporarily hold the gate up off the ground 1”. (The metal bars were from his work shop.) I also held the gate steady while he tightened the 4 pressure bracketsonto the walls, ( Brackets are included with the gate.)3. This gate has the BEST & EASIEST, ONE HAND LOCK. You just push the lock down with your thumb, while simultaneously squeezing up with the rest of your fingers. It doesn’t take much pressure at all.4. The gate swings open whichever way you want it to, which is a GREAT FEATURE!5. The gate itself is Black with a nice finish on it. To me, the gate looks modern and sleek. It is lightweight, but very STRONG & STURDY.We do not work for this company. I am a 70 year old, retired Clinical Social Work Supervisor. My husband is a 74 year old retired Machinist. We BOTH love dogs. The gate was necessary to keep the dogs safe and out of trouble in the rest of the house. They are both Queensland Healers, medium to large in size who love to play and get rowdy together. They have never messed with the gate. They know it’s a border and leave it alone. However, if they did stand up against it, I believe the gate is strong & sturdy enough, as well as pressure mounted enough to hold their weights of approximately 40-50 lbs. each. It would certainly work for a Baby gate as well.This is the longest review I have ever written and tried to express (in detail) how great this COMOMY GATE is. I guess it’s because I looked at sooo many of the different descriptions of each gate selling on Amazon, that I’m SHOCKED I selected THE PERFECT GATE for us!! I absolutely hate having to return items, though it’s so easy with Amazon.I have absolutely NOTHING NEGATIVE to say about this product. It’s probably obvious by now……I highly recommend the COMOMY GATE TO EVERYONE! Thank you for taking the time to read this. 🤗

Fits great, easy to install and very sturdy.

This gate has been a lifesaver with the new puppy and my granddaughter. It was easy to install and does not leave marks on the wall. It does have some adjustments to make it quieter to accommodate multiple with we have been using our gate for about a year without any issues. It still looks brand new and is made with quality material. The latch is well-made and gets opened 30 times a day, and have not had any issues with it. I highly recommend this product.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this gate. I now have two. Perfect for keeping dogs in or out of certain rooms. Solid metal gate. Latch works perfectly. Tall enough to keep dog from even trying to jump it. Looking at multiple gates? Pay the money for this one. You will not regret it!!

Super easy to assemble. I like that it is pressure mounted, so no holes in my wall. We did receive it with a cracked top hinge piece. Can't find an address for the company!

This product is great for my covered front porch! It is attractive and also keeps my dog from running off. The quality is solid and durable. This gate is easy to assemble, and the auto closing feature works great.

This gate was a lifesaver! Purchased Oct 24 to keep my dogs away when answering the front door. It’s sturdy and works well. So happy I purchased it! I think it looks nice too!

Just installed this gate today, already had a cheaper gate that was a hand-me-down. This gate was rather expensive compared to the entry level options but I immediately see why. I purchased is because of its height, 90 degree detents and ability to swing inwards or outwards. I can leave it open when I want and it stays that way. My old gate only swings one way, and it has a button on both sides of the latch, but only one side is a button that's hard to press and the other side is fake. I had disassembled it thinking one side was broken but found out it was just cosmetic. This model has a latch button top and bottom that you must press simultaneously and they're both very easy to press and hold.This gate is very easy to install and comes with width extenders. A standard width doorway shouldn't need those. It even comes with attachments to put it between circular columns. It's much sturdier than my cheaper gate and the lock mechanism locks both at the latch and at the base. The gaps in the posts are small so cats can't squeeze between them. The only downside I can think of is if you wanted this to keep dogs or toddlers out but allow cats through. I think I saw an option for a little integrated cat door but I can't remember for this brand.Overall I'm glad I didn't buy another cheapo gate, this one is much nicer and thankfully worth the price. With coupon from Amazon I spent about $75. I might end up buying another to replace the other cheap gate I've been using.
