I am writing this because they are not like any of the reviews that I had read which lead me to buying the shoes and I wanted to prevent anyone else from falling for the false advertising. Since my review was posted I have received multiple emails, text messages, phone calls, and even contacted me on a social media app asking me to please change my review to 5 stars and they would give me a full refund. I am not interested in the refund I am more interested in having the truth out there. I am a social Latin dancer, I dance once or twice a week for a couple of hours. These shoes fell apart after about a month of use. The buckle on the shoe does not properly buckle, the ankle strap is way too long, the shoe itself wore away far too fast for the little amount that I used them. The seller wanted me to post a false review. Yes they did offer to give me my money back though which is the only reason they even get 1 star. The clasp is a "hook on" instead of a real buckle. And these are definately shoes I would bring in a bag and only wear on the dance floor because of the sole being a suade-like material. But if I take care of them I can see them lasting at least through my dance lessons or much longer so I am happy with these. And no one can tell them apart from the expensive ones once they are on my feet and on the dance floor with the others. Super happy and meets all my needs. Also love that they came with heel protectors and a bag so no need to worry about those heels tearing my dresses when storing or packing. Oh and I am a strict US size 5 shoe and these fit perfectly. They sent an extra pair, which was really nice, however, both were large in the soles and the straps were so long that I needed to bore extra holes so that it would fit around my ankles. I tried them out for a couple of hours but could not get used to the extra room in the toes. After giving feedback to the seller, they automatically sent a replacement (it was a pleasant surprise) that was a half size smaller and they fit nicely. As an avid dancer, these are not quite sturdy enough for rigorous training and competition, but they are perfect for practice and casual dancing. Five stars for stellar customer service and quick response to my initial feedback.
