The large print is perfect! Gave to friend who had been doing the newspaper ones, she loves it!

I am a longtime crossword addict and I can tell you that I wouldn't buy a book of crosswords that wasn't edited by Will Shortz. He is the longtime NY Times Puzzle-master and he makes sure that the crosswords he authorizes use American English (I ran across some from Australia which has different slang) and some that purported to be from the New York Times, but clearly weren't up to those standards.

Can't go wrong with crossword puzzles edited by Will Shortz. You won't experience esoteric answers or clues keeping groaning and eye rolling at a minimum.

I bought this for my mother-in-law who was used to do the crossword puzzle everyday and now her eyes are not doing well. This is great - she can see the words!

My elderly mother liked this one a lot. My only complaint is that when you are searching for "large print" crossword books, Amazon starts mixing in regular sized print in with their suggestions when when you tried to filter it for just large print. I have accidentally ordered 2 regular sized print crossword books by accident because of this practice. Sending them back is a problem when it's a gift. I couldn't even find the pickup request form this last time. So, the book is fine, but this Amazon practice stinks!!

the book is very nice. easy to read. and different levels of difficulty. much fun.

I purchased this for a friend whose eyesight is gradually failing (80 years!). I, also like the large print although the puzzle framework is on one page and the clues on the other page. This makes it more suited for use on a table or desk rather than being able to carry it around to work on whenever you have to wait, such as at the doctor's office.

This was purchased as a gift for my mother, who can't see as well as she used to. She just told me that it is very good, and a lifesaver for her. It's good to keep your brain active! It arrived earlier than promised, so I was able to mail it with plenty of time to spare.

I always look for the NYT 'easy to hard' with large print. If you like variety and can handle the 'hard' section without getting frustrated because it is HARD, then I recommend this book of puzzles. It challenges my brain's ability and I feel like I've accomplished something good with each solution. Recommend.

I goofed. I didn't want Easy or Medium Crosswords, so can only enjoy part of the book. My mistake.
