Catholic Bible Chronicles: 70 Bible Stories from Adam to the Apostles (Great Adventure Kids)

Lovely children's Bible stories. It's really well presented and pictures are beautiful. The only issue I had was with Amazon packaging. Although it was in the box the both were badly damaged. The parcel was wet and so was the book. On top of that the top and corner of the book were smashed and cover scratched. To me it looked as if I received a used book. I can't fault the customer service I have received the refund.

How’s well with my adult Adventures Bible. My son loves the kid version

I gave this Bible to my little sister. She loves reading and loves Jesus so she absolutely loves this Bible. She’s eight years old and she can read it proficiently and easily. I looked through it and I absolutely love it. The quality of the Bible itself is so amazing. This is the type of Bible that can be passed down generation to generation. It’s very easy to understand for young children, but also complex enough for them to start to grasp the story of creation and the gospels. This is a perfect gift for first communion or confirmation. I will definitely be repurchasing for nieces and nephews in the future.

If you aren't familiar with the Great Adventure Bible series, I highly recommend them. I purchased this one for an upper elementary age child who was immediately drawn in by the illustrations. The organization helps readers understand the story of salvation. There is an overview for each book of the Bible that highlights key events.

Our 9 yr old (and I) really enjoyed reading this together. The writing does an excellent job of summarizing and making it more easy to understand for all. Excellent starter for any age to begin to learn Scripture.

I cannot say enough good things about this book. We love reading it together with my kids at bed time. They are so intrigued about what happens next. I have caught my 6 year old getting out of bed to read it and bookmarking it. She now knows more than I do about this. The stories are so lovely and easy for kids to understand, yet they have good substance to them.
