You twist the white notched part to ring the bell. You can turn it both ways and the bell will ring. It's easy for little hands to ring the bell.

How do you make the bell ring? I just purchased an unable to make it ring.

Adorable bell that works as expected

My mother bought this for my toddler daughter who just started riding a tricycle and she absolutely loves it. We only use it indoor for now but the ring is loud to notify nearby pedestrians.
