This handy little pixel light is pretty neat, it has a full range of RGB colors and you are able to input specifics if you want a very specific shade of blue or whatnot.You can also just scroll thru the color palate to find a shade you like, in addition to the strobe effects and “police” “ambulance” which offers flashing and alternating colors, this is a handy little light and it’s pretty bright.The coolest feature on this new light is the magnetic possibility, it comes with 4 little sticky magnet tabs that if you know where you want the light to hang, you can stick them up and the light has a built in magnetic back.You could even use this for other purposes than video and camera light, you could have it in your car or use it elsewhere.I say it again and again, Pixel is a good product and at reasonable prices for the tech you get…

I recently received a new Pixel Liber led light and have tested all functions. I am a professional photographer who owns several compact led lights from Pixel, and am very familiar with their products. For all who may be interested read on to learn why I found this to be a solid 4 star light.Pros...First, the functions essentially work as described by the manufacturer. The light is quite compact and lightweight with a nice array of features. The device controls are simple and easily navigated. The light output is good and so is the color range. It mounts magnetically (not magnetic absorption) or via threaded mounts. When the fully charged battery was tested with the light at 100% power, it lasted nearly 115 minutes in new condition, but that will degrade as the battery ages. The light got very warm over this time, but was not too hot to handle. The small screen is easily read and provides all necessary info. There are two threaded mounts, one on top and one on the side, and the usb-c charging port is appreciated. The light also includes a silicone diffuser, usb charging cable, a swivel shoe mount, 4 adhesive magnetic mounting plates and a Sandisk 120MB/32GB card. I have also found Pixel company's customer service to be good.Cons...The control app is not downloadable from the play store, and at the time of my purchase an app was only available for Apple, none for Android. Pixel really should add Android apps for all their products to the play store. Fortunately, the device controls are easily used and the app is not required. The silicone diffusion cover is very nice, but the control cut-out on the side doesn't quite align when mounted to the light as designed, so the controls are slightly under the edge.Also note that the light does have a magnetic rear for mounting easily to metal surfaces, but it is not actually the same thing as "magnetic absorption", it is just plain magnetic. Pixel should just put the words magnetically mountable in the listing instead.I may update this info as I further test the light.

First of all don’t forget to download the “Pixel Link” app from the Google Play Store or the Apple Store. For me this is where the light shines! The light can do color temps of 2500K-8500K, RGB and has many special effects modes. You can switch through these manually on the light itself, but using the app is my preferred way to go. It’s just quicker and allows me to save my favorite color profiles for quick selection.Like many lights you have effects like police, lightning, cinema, candle ect. I would say that I was not impressed with the candle effect, but the others will be used in my film making for sure! I do wish I could adjust the speed of the effects.The light has a metal body, and a high-quality build feel to it. I have used many small RGB LEDs and I hate when they have a cheap plastic feel to them. It has two quarter-twenty mounts, one on the side and one on the bottom. It also has built in magnets so you can mount it traditionally or just slap it to a metal surface and leave it that way. You also get a USB A to C charging cable, a ball mount, and four adhesive magnetic mounting plates.It also comes with a soft silicon diffuser. I would recommend keeping it on if you are filming a person’s face. It will really change the quality of the image. For the price I think that this light is a great deal!

This is the one. Comes with a removable diffuser and lets you choose the brightness and temperature easily. Holds a charge for more than two hours when being turned on and off repeatedly. I took it on my content creation gig for a party bus tour in Vegas and it went from nightclub, to night selfies, to photos at the famous Las Vegas sign with lighting through convoluted tubes in the background which didn’t matter. The photos looked gorgeous and make you look younger by al aye having uplighting on hand!! Try it out, you won’t regret it.

The media could not be loaded.  I'm amazed so far by the Pixel Liber RGB light, it has a powerful light for a small video light. My pictures and videos look amazing, I especially love changing colors for my videos. Battery life it's good so far, and the camera/tripod attachment it's very sturdy. I haven't tried the app because it's iOS only, but the light it's very simple to use. I highly recommend this product.

Sinceramente, yo que me dedico a la producción de material audiovisual, lo recomiendo ampliamente, la facilidad de uso y transporte es excelente, y la eficiencia de la luz sorprendente, no duden en comprar las que necesiten, sin duda yo comprare mas.

The light works really well but when I connected to the Pixel LCS App the HSI & Camera adjustment options were not there. After much correspondence with Pixel Support (who were very helpful) it turned out I had been sent the first version of this light which requires the older Pixel Link App. Having said that all the functions that are available on the LCS app work with the light, it's just missing all the functions of the later version of the light. I have both apps on my phone now which means I can use the colour picker to choose the colour. Just check which version you are being sent!
