My wife uses an adjustable arm lamp that contains one of these circular flourescents and an incandescent bulb in the middle for sewing work. The flourescent stopped working a long time ago; she was bugging me for a replacement, and I had no idea where to find one. So, I finally pulled the flourescent out of the fixture to get its part number, looked it up on Amazon; immediately found this one, and ordered it.Oddly, when I put the old flourescent back in, it started working again. But it was pretty dirty and I thought it would be a bit brighter if I cleaned it up, and that we could just keep the new one on hand as a spare. Good idea ... bad execution. When I tried to take the bulb out again, one of the little spring clips that hold it in the fixture slipped, smacked the bulb and broke it. Sigh. No big deal, though ... had the replacement within two days; put it in with no problem; the lamp's now working good as new, and the wife is happy. Only time will tell if this replacement lasts anywhere near as long as the original (Made In Germany) did. The End.
