Mine don't get babied and they're holding up great for the past six months or so. And then the only thing I get annoyed with is the disconnect. I read and watched some reviews and the theme seemed to be that these headphones sound just like the studio monitors—for better or worse. But that's exactly what I wanted and these DELIVER on that promise. I can't comment on durability because I just got them today, but they feel very heavy duty. What I can say is that these do indeed make all my music sound the way they sound when blasted through my Rokit 5s. I couldn't be happier. Of course no headphones can ever fully reproduce the feeling of soundwaves hitting your whole body in addition to your ears, but these cans come as close as possible. Obviously, they are not nearly the quality of headphones in higher price ranges, but for what they are, they are decent headphones. I use these for school.
