these mirrors definitely do what they are supposed to. i bought these because i damaged one of my 2018 Sierra 1500 OEM Regular mirrors(which wasn't a tow mirror). the pair were half the price as one OEM and we haul a camper often, so i went with these and they work great. the material is a little cheap and you can see the wires if you have the mirror tilted a certain way, but definitely worth the price. i did have to drill a hole in both doors where the mirrors mount but the instructions tell you exactly what you need to do.

This truck had the small car style mirrors and sucked for towing a trailer. You can see behind you so much better now. This mirror has 4 studs that hold it on. The original mirrors had 3 studs. Not a big deal, there's a indent where you need to drill. This truck is a base model, so I did not have to hook up the power cord (I just cut them off). I did not check the time it took, but I'd say about an hour or so to install. I would definitely recommend either this as an upgrade or replacement for broken mirrors

Shaky top piece makes it hard to see once road is a tad shaky. Mirrors do not extend enough to see beyond a 25' travel trailer. Really disappointed of them considering the cost and time/effort to have them installed. I'm wary to see if defrost function will work as required since cold season is coming in ...

These towing mirrors fit and work perfectly. No vibrating. While some haven't drilled the hole for the 4th mounting screw I highly recommend doing so. The power and heat features were plug and play. Of course this will only work if your factory mirrors were equipped with the same features.

Smashed one of our original towing mirrors on the truck. Replaced just the one smashed and it doesn't move or vibrate any different from the original on the other side. So my side by side comparison is that it's great. I wish it has the LED turn signal in the mirror, but those are hard to find with fast shipping.
