## Questions & Answers

**Q: Aluminum layer - can your bags act as faraday cages?**
A: I have not tested this so I cannot say if they can or not. I do know that aluminum foil does, and it works very well.

**Q: whats the thickness in mils**
A: I don’t know however, I bought two packs of 20 pcs each. They are perfect, I used all of them, each bag with one 2000cc oxygen absorber.

**Q: Safe for water storage? Any leaking issues?**
A: I use mine for food storage.  I have to seal them with a flat iron...so I dont think they will work for water.  I did get some that have a ziplock seal included -but this was not that version.

**Q: One of the reviews says your bags melted with a hot iron.  Should a cloth be placed between the iron and mylar bag when heat sealing to prevent melt?**
A: No, they are supposed to melt together.
