This item arrived intact but the lid very very very chipped, with actual chunks of the enamel missing, the pot itself is probably still usable but it's extremely unsightly and i don't want it, not do I want the trouble of returning it, so I'm probably stuck with it but as it came from Amazon's warehouse they had to see what they were sending before they described it as new.. Beware

This item is very heavy but brilliant. Easy to clean kept the fix warm for ages once cooked.A wonderful buy

I cannot understand why this has not been in my life sooner. I have the shallow casserole also. Both are so versatile. Great for a much better, even cook.Cleans like a dream. Just buy it

The media could not be loaded.  This casserole is absolutely beautiful in every way. It is also very heavy. The Tower Housewares websites states that (quote): 'The enamel interior prevents food from sticking, is easy to clean, and will not absorb odours or flavours. Versatile in design, the casserole pan is suitable for all hob types including induction and also grill safe and oven safe up to 260°C.' (Unquote). It is 60 degrees more than you might expect. An extra bonus. This casserole looks really great, and since you can cool it ans serve the food cold in it, it is important as you can easily place it on the table while serving food and it won't look out of place. You should definitely be careful with enamel and non-metal, more gentle materials are advisable. Also, handwashing is recommended. I am not using it often so it is not a problem for me. But if you are looking for a casserole to go in the dishwasher, this is not the one. Cast iron is a really demanding material. I have learned my lesson the hard way and am not repeating the mistake - this casserole will not be soaked and will be cleaned, washed and dried immediately after the food is consumed/stored. The edges are obvious cast iron so you will have to be really careful to dry it properly. I have cooked three times in this casserole, all dishes were properly spiced with loads of turmeric and smoked paprika. This enamel has not stained and the dried bits were not difficult to remove without even scratching or soaking. So, excellent all over. It arrives well packaged, it looks grand, it will make an excellent gift and it comes with a warranty, so you cannot wish for more.

This is rock solid and heavy, but it feels like it'll last a lifetime. I really like the red colour and will do my best to keep the outside clean, although that's always the side that gets dirty over time. The price is good compared to the more weel-known established brand, so you get similar looks and function for less bucks. Win-win.There's a few sizes to choose from, but you might need to check the strength of your shelves if you get too many. Compared to thin, ordinary pots, this is in a different league, and just looks better too. It might cost a bit more, but it'll sure last longer.
