I just installed this on my big terrarium. We have some Cope's Gray Treefrogs in it. It is big. It measures 36" tall x 24" wide x 18" deep. This species of treefrog doesn't really need a heat source, but isopods and springtails need warmer than our room temperature is. We keep the room temp at 65 degrees during the cooler months. I installed this in the lower left side of the terrarium. It has successfully raised the temperature about 7 to 8 degrees. I have the heater set at 85 degrees and the temp is currently 74 to 75 degrees. This is up from 67 to 68 degrees before the heater. The lighting in the terrarium doesn't create any heat at all. This was the safest way to add a little heat to this terrarium. It's working out just fine. I like the fact that the adhesive is good. I also like the fact that it doesn't use a remote probe. It wouldn't be helpful for my setup. This heater wouldn't be sufficient to heat this terrarium for certain reptiles, but for my needs, it is perfect. I recommend it.

seems the "fahrenheit" temp digital read out was broken. But the C read out worked for us. We used this mat to keep our kombucha bottles warm on cold winter mornings when brewing. Successful!

It arrived when it was suppose to , seems to be working well .. it only has a Celsius and the directions are a little confusing

We have had this reptile heat pad with regulator for over a month now and are very pleased! It works perfectly, and is easy to reset different temperatures!! Highly Recommend!!

I don’t think this reflects on repti zoo in particular but I think received a defective return from Amazon.. the box came damaged.. the adhesive peel back thing wasn’t right… it came as separate peel back thing that wasn’t attached to the hot side of the product like your regular heat mats would.. nor was it double sided.. but since I had to to treat a native copperhead for early signs of an RI and didn’t have any extra heat mats or thermostats, I just taped it to the enclosure.. but all in all it’s a great and less messy that having a separate thermostat probe.. the snake isn’t showing signs of gaping, clicking, and passed its bowel movements a few days after the heat mat was placed.. even with one inch of substrate (not ideal for RI treatment) it still did the trick with an early caught RI.. aside from that inconvenience, pretty solid for the price and performance
