For the HP lovers
Got this for my nephew for Christmas and he loved it. So much fun for kids!! I'd say of course anyone who loves HP this is a must. Probably ages 6/7 or up would be best. It's not a huge game that takes up a lot of space. It's super cute to watch the kids get really into it. Good value for the money.

Fun puzzle! Couple drawbacks
Overall this is a very charming, fun, complex, and compact puzzle. Evokes the Potter universe in many ways. Two drawbacks:-The entire interior is gold, which makes it harder to read the numbers and distinguish the different steps than the other puzzles made by Perplexus.-the Snitch stand is a bit wobbly/flimsy, and detaches very easily.Other than that, excellent!

A lot of fun!
It takes time to learn the rules but once you do it's great fun! It's always hilarious to see when the snitch pops up :)

A challenge that never gets old!!
I love puzzles, Rubik’s cubes, games and this perplexus is no different. I love the cool golden snitch design because I’m a huge Harry Potter nerd, but the wing stand that it rests on just makes it look really cool sitting on the shelf even when you’re not playing with it. The intricate mechanics are beautiful and challenging. I can play with this for hours and I’m always still engaged every time I master a new step. My one critique would be that because the plastic is a shiny gold color sometimes the glare coming from the plastic sphere obscures the numbered steps on the maze. This can be frustrating when you get to a further into the maze than you have before, only to drop the ball because you are trying to see where to go next.

Harry Potter theme is great, design not so much
I ordered this after playing with a friend's Perplexus Beast. This is definitely not the same quality. The outer plastic feels thin and makes me nervous about it cracking easily. Also, the ball gets stuck along the sides A LOT. This is extremely frustrating. Finally, the numbers are difficult to find/read, so once an obstacle is reached, it's difficult to find the correct path to get to he next one. Searching for it results in the ball dropping and having to start all over again. The maze itself is fun and challenging, but I wish I had the extra to get the Beast. But, being an HP loving family, we felt we needed this in our lives. The HP touches are super cool- the boot portkey, the moving staircases, goblet, and other HP references are a nice touch. I just wish they had invested more in the quality.

Great Intro to the Series
My son, who is 5 now, enjoys this a lot. He first started the Go Spiral, and this is his second perflexus. He brings this wherever he goes, and it keeps him focused and slient (^^)As for the adult, I should say I also enjoy this a lot, and the challenges are not easy even for an adult.I also like the color of this, which looks a bit luxurious. If you are a Harry Poter fan and likes this type of puzzle, then this is your much have.If you are new to the Perflexus world, you can start off from this one.(even though I would say Go Spiral is better for the newbies.)
