Great kit, has everything I need!

This is by far the best item I've purchased as far as medical bags and supplies goes. If you are a simple person looking to create a preparedness/bug-out stash just for peace of mind, this is the best thing you can get for your medical needs. The item has the best price for all that's included. The value of the bag and what comes with it is more than asked for. The bag is very nice quality, with three well sized pouches. It comes with an attachment for the main compartment that seperates it into smaller spaces. The bag has plenty of extra space even after organizing all of the supplies it comes with. I am satisfied and 5 stars simply isn't enough

Excellent setup for quality

I'd like to start this off by saying that I am a lifeguard and a red cross instructor. I spend all day around stuff like this, and I know that having medical equipment around can and does save lives. That being said, I bought this kit to restock my personal trauma kit, not for work. For my purposes, it was perfect. While I do have experience with a lot of equipment like this, do not take ANYTHING I say as medical advice, and if you do buy this kit, do not use ANYTHING in it that you haven't been formally trained to use. This kit is in my opinion an excellent value for the money, but it definitely has some drawbacks. The major pros are the cost, the quantity of medical supplies you're getting, and the distribution of value within the kit(I'll explain in a minute). The Cons are THE TOURNIQUET****, the quality of the bag(not an issue for me, but may be for you), and the lack of warnings that should come along with equipment like this. For 40 dollars, you can't possibly expect professional quality medical equipment. (For reference, a single CAT tourniquet from NARescue costs about $35) What you CAN expect is "good enough" medical equipment. There is no need to spend 20 bucks on a box of gauze pads. This kit has "good enough" band aids, gauze, and other consumables so it can give you a mostly complete kit at a good price. ***If you are looking to start a kit from this, you will NEED to buy a good tourniquet from a reputable brand. The TQ included with this kit is total junk. The CAT, R.A.T.S., SOFTTW, and SWATT tourniquets are all great. (SWAT-T and RATS are both under 20 bucks)*** You will also need TRAINING and MEDICAL KNOWLEDGE!!! If you want to keep the ammonia inhalants and/or OPA's, take a Red Cross EMR or professional EMT class to learn how to use them. Those 2 items in particular are EXTREMELY dangerous if used incorrectly. If you aren't certified to use them, DON'T!!!!! In summary, this is an awesome first aid kit FOR THE MONEY! It can handle most boo-boos, and minor to moderate trauma. If you're looking for professional quality medical equipment, this isn't for you, but if you just want a good car or home medical kit, you won't find anything better for the price.

Initially I was a little disappointed with the size of the bag. It didn't appear that it would be large enough to even fit the supplies that came with the kit. The items came in two ziplock bags with the contents of the bag labeled. The quality of the items are alright. I have added other items to this bag such as CPR mask, eye wash, wound wash, additional gauze, and additional ice packs. I work security for a horse track and am a adult softball coach. This bag is great to have around and I would highly recommend this bag for anyone that needs a first aid kit but more than the cheap one that you get at Wal Mart.

Very nice kit for travel or home use or in a big pit bag.

Rest of items in bag and the bag itself are really nice and made sturdy, bag is not big but holds everything included with the kit with extra space to add more supplies and equipment to it. I was not impressed with the tourniquet. I wanted to learn how to use it, and when I tightened it, the buckle cracked. I recommend getting this med kit as it’s got mostly good supplies however I’d recommend getting a better quality tourniquet.

This is awesome, I thought the bag was bigger, but I love it.
