I purchased this mouth guard for my son, who is autistic and practices BJJ/Muay Thai. Unfortunately, due to his sensory issues, we struggled to get it to fit properly. Despite multiple, maybe too many, attempts, it was too rough for him to continue trying. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ However, I still give it 5 stars for its quality. The product itself was user-friendly and far superior to traditional mouth guards in every possible way. If I had approached the fitting as i did with my best failure, playing dentist and side by side, I might have been successful. The mouth guard is durable and almost stayed in place during my failed attempts. I am confident that if I had succeeded with my son, this would have been the perfect mouth guard for him. If you are in search of a mouth guard that is sturdy, stays in place, allows for easy breathing and talking during intense activities, and your child does NOT have sensory issues to do with his mouth and dentist type stuff, this is the ideal choice. I washed it well and gave minimal, read that as extremely poor, guidance to my 12-year-old son, and surprisingly, he got it right on the first try. It would have required minor adjustments, but overall, it was a straightforward process. He is only 2 years older than my other son, so it was not a maturity thing, however, my 12 year-old would need the adult size, plus he does not do the same activity. While I am unsure about a solution for my autistic son, currently we are stuck with Hope no teeth are knocked out, for a child without sensory issues, the process is simple, and the results far surpass traditional mouth guards. I emailed the company and they quickly replied and they are taking care of me.

Best mouthguard I’ve ever had! Super comfortable, lightweight. Video instructions were crystal clear. Use it for BJJ and martial arts. I can easily talk & drink with it in. No drool! I even have a top permanent retainer behind my two front teeth. This guard molds perfectly around it. Highly recommend!

Great product, I bought one for upper and another for lower teeth. Both were pretty easy to mold on fitting, the bottom is more difficult to navigate because the front teeth line is on the bottom but it works. You can do a loose or tight fit. Easy to remold the entire thing or little spots by following video instructions. I will definitely recommend to others. Easy cleaning, I use a bristle brush to get into the teeth holes and breathing holes. After 3 weeks no bad taste. It's thin, not bulky, just make sure you get the back front close to your teeth for tounge placement.

This thing is paper thin, so I did not have very high expectation. In fact, I figured I would break my teeth in BJJ rolls wearing this thing. I was wrong. It fits perfectly molded to my teeth like a retainer while also protecting my teeth from damage. I got hit in the face twice while wearing this mouthpiece, and I barely felt it besides the fat lip. I love the white color because it looks like teeth, and it’s very easy to clean soaked in some mouth wash after each use. I highly recommend this product!!

This mouthguard is amazing and is a lifesaver for my son with braces. He got braces at the beginning of wrestling season and so of course I hopped on and bought the mouthguard everyone seems to get that has a top and bottom portion together. Well I didn’t know how far off my son’s teeth were at the time. That one didn’t fit at all because his bottom teeth were too far back to fit in the pre molded areas. After panic searching I came across the Bulletproof Braces Mouthguard and thought well lets give it a shot. Especially after I saw a review where someone said you just buy 2 and mold the other one upside down for the bottom teeth. It worked perfect to do it that way. The bottom was a little more difficult to mold but we just followed the directions and then reheated small sections to form it down. The spacer comes out after and they fit perfectly. It came with extra pads too and we’re about to re mold the mouthguard because my son’s teeth have moved so much in this amount of time. I can’t thank this company enough for coming out with this product. He gets tons of compliments from other wrestlers, coaches, and even the refs when they do checks before wrestling. He’s going to use them for everything he needs a mouthguard for and he is definitely very happy we found these. Just follow the directions and you have a perfect mouthguard.

I guess I'm the exception to the rule... The mouth guard would not mold to my teeth correctly. I watched the videos over and over and over. I don't know if my bite is just so messed up that it would not like up or what. My mouth is now sore from trying so many times. The material is made well, the color is vibrant, it seems sturdy once or hardens and it really snaps onto your teeth for the most part. The backs kept folding in on me, then one side was shorter than the other, the it was pulled to far front and it hit the upper part of my gums and lip, then it wasn't suctioned to the top front of my teeth enough. It's been 3 hours and it was supposed to be no more than 4 mins total. I am going to have to find something else I guess but I don't know what else to get other than paying big dollar for a custom mouth guard I can't even afford. Wish me luck!

Best mouthguard I’ve used! The video tutorial is top notch! I’ve fitted a lot of mouthguards at home for Jiu Jitsu and always fumbled trying to get the best fit. Lots of reheating and they never were exactly right. Bulletproof’s videos make it fool proof and a breeze. Already bought a second for my son for his classes. We will be customers for life!
