They cut relatively easily, but are still strong and stiff enough to have a lot of fun with. They hold up well over the months, even with lots of sun and pool water exposure. They are the best noodles I have seen. They are very stiff and don't bend a lot which made for great light sabers, although they could hurt a little if swung too hard.
