ORDER THIS ONE FOR YOUR 07 & UP CIVIC. Nothing else will work for 8th gen civic!! This is the correct one. They for some reason switched the harness between 04-08 8th gen and this one is the one that works for a 2010 8th gen.

I got this and wired it up and everything was great except there was no sound in my car(2008 SI Sedan). I learned that this harness isn't the one for cars that have the premium sound system (EX, SI). After some research I found out that you simply have to splice the remote wire (blue/white or blue) into the light blue wire on the factory harness to power on the factory amp and turn on the factory speakers. That didn't work for me either. I rewired it up with RCA's attached to the wiring harness to use my headunit's low-level line outs and that still didn't work. All this time my subs would be one and kicking but no sound in the car. SO after about a week of frustration and ripping out my dirvers seat to get to the factory amp, I just decided to purchase the Metra 70-1727 Factory Amplifier Bypass Harness for 2006 Honda Civic Vehicles which bypasses the amp altogether. For a regular civic owner I say go for this harness, but for a premium sound system, I say just get the amp bypass. It'll save you touching you factory harness and probably some days of frustration.

Needed this harness to install a new stereo in my 2006 Honda Civic. Overall wiring was easy enough for the speakers and power/ground connections - but there were a couple wires that were not labeled on the package. I ended up going to my car, connecting the battery and tapping wires together to see how to get the radio to work. Besides that it gets the job done.

The wires are well labeled. I called customer service on a Saturday and they were very helpful. After getting a couple of my questions answered, installation was straightforward.

I was able to get everything set up fairly easily in my Honda fit, but after getting everything set up I realized a couple wires that didn't have matches. I had to leave it as is and wrapped everything up safely and put it all back together but when I turned the radio on the whole right side doesn't make a sound. So I am missing the wires to control the sound on the right side but other than that everything else work perfectly fine.

It's a piece of plastic, with some pinned pigtails, so I thought it was a little pricey, but it definitely makes for a clean installation, so I think it's worthwhile. The wires are good quality, as is the head. I think there are some instructions, but I already had an idea what I was doing, so I can't recall if they instructions are good or not. Used on a 2014 Honda Civic, to replace the factory original single-DIN "CD + radio" unit -- anyone wanna buy it? x-D ).
