Works great
This is super good value for the money it works just as well as the name brand. It goes on pretty easy if you know what you're doing and my top box was really easy to install on top of it. You don't need to buy the name brand or the really expensive piece you can just buy this and it's secure and you don't have to worry about it.

Works well
I use it to carry my milwaukee products like packouts and packout backpack. Very versatile just have to make a cutout of thick plastic like a cutting board of the packout mounting plate or out of plywood

A template and hex key would have been helpful
Installing the shelf typically is done by removing the cover. Doing it this way is simple but exposes large rather ugly holes open to the weather. Like another reviewer I chose to drill the plate and keep the bike clean looking.Used a dry mark eraser to copy and mark holes from body panelDrilled cover plate with ZELCAN 10 Size Titanium Step Drill Bit (Amazon)Sealed with Uxcell Nitrile Rubber O-Rings 18mm ID (Amazon)Nice. clean. professional looking installation - no ugly holes left beneath rack

GREAT
This is awesome and at a great price. Did come with a scratch on it, or would have given it a 5 STAR review.
