For the money, one of the best knives I've ever used
I've worked in professional kitchens for years and used many knives, and honestly this is one of the best I have used. It out performs even some of the very expensive (£400+) hand crafted knives out there! It's extremely sharp out the box and is very quick to sharpen when it dulls slightly. It's a great shape, performs the function of several different knives and feels great to use for every task! Things to bare in mind, it's not hand forged as it claims to be but for under £60 you're not going to get a hand forged blade full stop. This knife is in fact a very good quality Chinese steel with high chromium content, an exact copy of a German steel used in some of the best kitchen knives around the world. It appears to be stamped steel that has has been patterned and shaped into a well balanced blade. It's a softer steel, so it won't hold an edge too long, however that isn't a downside if you sharpen your knives as this can be honed right back to razor sharp in less than 5 minutes. It's high chromium content means it won't rust on you, just don't put it in the dishwasher but you shouldn't do that to any knife. The quality of the handle seems to differ between knives they send, some could use some more wood coating/varnish and finishing but that's not hard to correct. Overall I would say this is the best knife you will find for the price and even some far more expensive.

After one year...
The knife is still great. Complaints of rusting are kind of valid, but also, kind of not. I feel like lots of people are used to cheap stainless steel knife sets with just straight blades, those will be highly resistant to rust as there is no real way for pit corrosion to gain a foothold provide you take some kind of care for the blade at some point. If you have a blade with any kind of etching or unique flair of some kind, especially on the blade itself, you need to take better care of your knife. Rinse the knife and dry it immediately after use, and you will never see a bit of rust on the knife. If you look at the pictures people have uploaded with the knife you'll see in almost every picture there are water or food stains on the cutting portion of the knife, indicating that the product was most likely left for days without being cleaned or dried. I'm not perfect, I too have used the knife to prep food, put it in the sink and forgotten about it for two days, and have seen the rusting. The difference is, I'm not going to try to make my laziness somebody else's problem. I simply wash the rust off with the scouring side of a dish sponge that you can buy in packs of 10 for £1 from almost anywhere, dry it with a kitchen towel, and put it away. A process which takes at most, 5 minutes.

Excellent Knife
Excellent knife-bespoke- eye-catching. Very sharp and good heavy weight, let down by a cheap and nasty sheath which gets sliced when putting the knife back into the sheath.finding it difficult to find online a good quality sheath to fit it. Hence only 4 stars

Sharp
A very well made blade with a stunning design work the leather holster did let it down but definitely a very well made crafted knife 🔪 it came well packed with 2 point tip protecters not for the well made blade... no but to stop you from lightly tapping it and slicing part of your fingers off.. definitely a must for the kitchen if you're a meat lover ... or a veg eatting psychopath.. this blade will get the job done fingers an all...

Great value, versatile knife
I can’t comment on longevity as we’ve not had the knife long, but it was sharp out of the box, is robust but not heavy and has proven very comfortable and versatile to cook with. In fact it has pretty much become the only chef’s knife I’m using for all tasks at the minute. PS we also bought and returned a Huusk knife, it was far heavier and more cumbersome than this.

Nothing like a good chefs knife
This knife is not as advertised. Can be sharpened to a good edge but goes blunt after one use. Supposed to be stainless steel but is already rusting. Definitely not value for money. Won't hold an edge, has to be sharpened before each use. Going out in the shed for gardening. Nothing but a gimmick and not worth the money.

Nice knife with old look
I think it's a nice knife, the old look feels good in the hand, it has a good weight, maybe on the heavy end (I have medium size). It's a little bigger than I expected. It has good sharpness (cuts through paper easily) I could maybe make it even sharper. I am really happy with it and can highly recommend the knife
