Loved reading it with my kids. A time period that is sometimes hard for kids to understand this book gives them a wonderful point of view!

Wonderful historical fiction for junior high children written in earlier century prose (beautifully written) about the French Revolution. This is my second time reading it aloud as part of a Heart of Dakota curriculum package.
