58mm Bottomless Naked Portafilter Compatible with 58mm Breville Oracle Series and Dual Boiler Espresso Machine, Filter Basket Not Included

I purchased this for use in a FLAIR 58 manual lever espresso machine. It unfortunately did not work.It blew off under pressure. The tabs that lock it into place are very small so it was a fail for my application.I have no experience with it in an automatic espresso maker, but hopefully it will sit better in one of those.Build quality seems good and the wood was lovely.I think that the smaller lock tabs decrease the value in my opinion as it limits its flexibility in different machines. Just a few millimeters more in tab size and it would have been perfect.

Used this for my Bezzera Unica and had it explode out of the grouphead on me. The wooden handle feels nice and smooth and I like the design aesthetically but the ridge that locks into the head of the machine is noticeably smaller compared to my stock portafilter. They're both 58mm portafilters.

I can't give the best review for this product since I have since realized that my espresso machine doesn't work with this type of portafilter but the one we received is a nice quality. Good wooden handle and clean and strong metal filter.

Leaked —terribly

It’s a beautiful portafilter and I really wanted to keep it, but while it looks like it could fit in my Diletta machine, the side tabs are likely not the same width as mine and the unit pops out during a shot and makes a huge mess.

This portafilter has a nice chrome finish and wooden handle. It's a bit lighter than the Breville plastic handled naked portafilter. Switching from the Breville brand naked portafilter didn't require any adjustment to my brew parameters. I simply popped the basket out of my old portafilter and popped it into this one. Unscrewing the wooden handle, I saw that the bolt that attaches the handle to the portafilter body is quite long. That should provide some longevity to this portafilter. The portafilter fits the machine tightly and works just as well as the plastic handled Breville branded filter. My only gripe is that the wood is a bit lighter than my other espresso accessories. I may try to refinish the handle with a darker stain. Overall this is highly recommended upgrade for your Breville!

Like the wood feeling in this bottomless portafilter. But sometimes the connection part got loosen so have to tighten it quite frequently…
