Got this for my husband and not only does it work but he loves it. Since getting him this kit I don't think he goes a day without applying the pomade and he doesn't leave the house without his wave brush. He loved the velvet durag but I ended up getting his a wave cap that he loves to pair with this instead but he did say the durag that comes with it feels more secure then the more slicker ones he had prior to that. The brush is really nice quality especially in comparison to the ones he has owned before this one. As for the pomade it is really hard to get into my husband ended up making an indent into it and we have been using it like that but its a nice pomade there isn't too much of a hair product smell to it and once rubbed in doesn't leave your hands feeling greasy. Plus you can really see the difference it's making with his hair it's not only the look of it but you can see the wave pattern really starting to take shape as well. Overall this is a product that was not only a success but one we were really happy with the make of it.

This is a really nice set. The brush is very well made and the bristles are perfect. The set is worth the investment for the brush alone. Wave cap is thick and warm. It has a velvet layer on the outside of the cap but more of a satin feel on the inside. Probably not one that you would wear out and about, mainly due to the large logo printed on it, but around the house and overnight to keep the hair pressed for waves it is perfect and has a luxe look and feel to it. Pomade is ok, mainly coconut oil.

My son has been wanting to bring out his natural wave but it takes time. I don't know if it's the pomade or the brush - I don't think it's the velvet cap - but whatever it is, it's already working on his hair.He said he really likes the way the brush feels and the pomade has a very light fragrance that works well for a man.The pieces of this kit would make a very nice men's gift basket. All of the products are quality and it looks good too.

My husband, an AA man, uses this and likes it. He's got good hair according to him and likes to use boar bristle brushes to keep his waves looking right. This is one of the better brushes I've had him try out lately. Nothing tops the Shash brush I got him, but this is a close 2nd.

Great gift item for my husband. He loves the brush, it is easy to use and feels good when he uses it. It seems to be working great on getting waves back into his hair. Either way I can tell his hair looks so much better! Perfect gift item for guys!

The media could not be loaded.  My son has a great grade of hair. It gets wavy when he wets it. He wants to keep his waves all day long. He asked me for help....I saw this. I think this is a great set I Read about this type of brush and it got great reviews. My only issue is the medium soft bristles. I prefer a harder brush. The set included the brush, wave pomade, and a velvet durag. You're good to go with this set.
