The vet and I were surprised: his ALT level was > 800. That's super high. This solves that. ATL should be about 87-122. Indicates his liver is not healthy. When an x-ray didn't turn up any tumors or other indicators of the root cause, the next best step was to try this and re-test. After 30 days on this product, testing returned ALT 187, still too high but a dramatic improvement. At that point I stopped using them to see how my new dog would do on his own. Three months later, and the level was at 280. So, the bad news is he probably has something like PHPV and will need this for life. The good news is, he eats them as easily as if they were a treat - literally right out of my hand, just touch some peanut butter to my palm for smell - and they work!
