I rarely write reviews, but I had to for this because it’s so awful! I got this mat for the front porch thinking it’s so cute and welcoming.......but within days the writing was starting to fade, and the gray was turning to this ugly brown. I honestly wish I had just kept my old mat, which wasn’t very nice. I absolutely do NOT recommend this mat.

After reading some reviews where people got a piece of colored foam instead of a real welcome mat, I wanted to post to confirm that I did in fact get a legitimate welcome mat. It shed a little bit out of the box, but otherwise seems to be of decent quality, and the price was great.I found it difficult to find a "fun" welcome mat that wasn't also rude, so I was pleased to find this one. It really livens up our front porch. It's in the shadows in this picture, but the color is pretty bright, although darker than on the product image. Our previous mat kept blowing away, but this one is heavy enough that I think it will stay put.

I love the contemporary look of this welcome mat and it’s a good size for our front door. It also does a good job picking up debris and dirt from our shoes/feet before coming into the house. My complaint though is that it’s starting to look aged in a short amount of time. We have it outside in the sun so it’s expected to become weathered, but we’ve only had it for about a month and it looks like we’ve had it for years.

It’s a little on the small side but super cute. I got an actual door mat, rubber bottom, straw like top. It’s under a covered porch so it shouldnt get much weather wear. I accented the door mat with a larger rug and I love it ❤️

This product looks great out of the box. I really loved the blue color. But that is short lived as the product color fades super fast. Like a lot of the other reviews say, beware that it will quickly fade and look old and ready to be replaced. Mine only lasted 2 weeks of being outdoors in the summer. I’m disappointed that this product didn’t even last a month before looking old and worn. It may last longer and be fine if left indoors like in a sunroom.

This mat is very cute, but not practical. I WAS so happy with it until my family started using it. The black part is painted on, so it comes off everytime people wipe their feet. It also, bleeds in the rain leaving a rust look on the ground ugh. So if you’re using it for an area that won’t get wet or used very often it may be a good purchase. But if you have kids and a lot of traffic you should pass.

This welcome mat is not the yellow it holds itself out to be. It is darker mustard yellow, not bright yellow implied by the color choice "yellow." While monitors may not accurately reflect colors, I don't have that problem with my Amazon purchases. That's why I was surprised by the ugly yellow color of this mat. Regarding construction, it's okay. I don't expect it to last more than 2 seasons. It's not the best construction I've seen, but it's not the worst. Definitely mid-to-low point. I've chosen not to return it because it's just too much hassle. I'm using it, but I wouldn't recommend it to someone looking for a bright, happy welcome mat.

Updated review. DO NOT buy the black version of this mat with the word hello on it. It is terrible quality! We used it only inside and for four weekends and it is completely coming apart. The black part turned yellow and lost its color anywhere anyone stepped on it. The word “hello” can’t even be read anymore as this is how much it faded or wore down in such a short time. within hours of using it, it also looks messy. Everything sticks to it, fuzz, cat hair, grass, leaves...really anything. Do not buy.

Great matt looks good no problems

Since I took this doormat out of the box it was shedding. I was hoping that it would get better by the time goes by, however it's been couple months now and it still keeps shedding!! I've been using vacuum cleaner to clean it up but no, it's not getting better. Entrance of my home keeps having so much debris so I had to get lid of this today.

Love the mat. If I would have picked it out in store. I may have been picky. As this mat has a bunch of hard black spots. Not sure why.I have ocd mind you. But I think its a imperfection..Looks like it will last. I just got it so not sure.
