Daniel Smith watercolors are the ones I prefer, with a few exceptions for certain colors. This Iridescent Goldstone is quite wonderful, has a nice sheen and it's a good hue.

My granddaughter wanted this for Christmas. She loved it. She's an artist and paints with nothing but Daniel Smith paints. Per her recommendation, I'd say it's a quality paint.

This color is everything I had hoped for! Love the color of the gold, it’s not too copper toned. It also lays nicely on other layers of watercolor paint.
