Seems Adequate
I have not had the scale long enough to write a proper review; have only used it a few times. It does seem to be accurate; is easy to read if you aren't too near-sighted (I don't wear my glasses when I weigh so that the two or three ounces they weigh don't contribute - *sigh*) and it is sturdy enough for my 209 lbs. The scale is low enough that it will fit into one of the drawers in my bathroom cabinet, freeing up floor space. So far, I'm happy with my purchase.

Nice looking and sturdy.
I was pleased to get this scale, however, after using it, I found that your feet don't stand straight on it. The large dial is in the was, so you stand like a duck and I don't think you weigh correctly because of it.

BEST SCALE IVE EVER OWNED
This product far exceeded my expectations. I will be purchasing other things from this brand. It's so sturdy accurate and easy to use and calibrate. Very easy to see too. I'd say I'll buy my next scale from. Them buuuut... I doubt that will happen for years to come as this thing is a beast and isn't going to break for a long long time

Solidly made, but inaccurate.
I purchased this to replace a quite old digital scale that had a bad/hard to read display I'd been living with for years.Figured I'd go analog so I didn't have to worry about batteries or an iffy display. It feels solidly made, has a surface large enough for my size 13 hoofs, and is easy to read as specified in the marketing materials. Calibration using the wheel on the bottom is very easy. However, despite making sure it's calibrated each time immediately before using it, it seems to be very inaccurate. I can calibrate it, step onto it, and it'll read 258 Lbs. When I step off, it may go to zero, or it may go to plus or minus 2 pounds around zero. Re-calibrating it and stepping back on, it'll read something like 252 Lbs.Calibrating it and gently tapping the top with my foot can cause the needle to stop somewhere around the zero mark, again, plus or minus maybe 2 Lbs.According to this scale -- weighing myself in the morning before eating, etc. -- I lost 8 pounds in the last few days. Then I gained 4 pounds. Then I lost 5 pounds. And so forth. If you're tracking your weight in a spreadsheet over a long period of time, I'll bet the inaccuracy will average out fine in the long term. But just to casually keep track of my weight? Not so much. Also, I'm confused by the "d=2" on the face of the scale. I assumed that was the maximum deviation from a calibrated value (i.e. ±2Lbs), but it seems the "d" value is the scale's smallest displayed division according to the NIST. But this scale has 1 Lb divisions. Am I reading that wrong? At any rate, I just read through the description on here twice, and nowhere do they mention the accuracy of the scale. Which seems like a large omission, and something I should've noticed before buying. Maybe it is ±2 Lbs? But having a 4 pound window on a scale to measure humans seems kinda large to me.

Difficult to read scale accurately
Two pound increments and color selection of dial calibrations and background make it hard to read accurately

Almost perfect, but a design flaw (for me)
Really liked the color, quality and style of this scale. It would read slightly different depending on very small changes in position, etc., but was generally accurate and robust. What makes me rate this 4 instead of 5 stars was something I didn't think about when I first bought it. The dial is nice and big, but notice how it sits in between the feet a bit (probably to keep the overall dimensions smaller); this means that you're looking between your feet to see the number. Further, the needle starts (at 0) pointing up and then swings DOWN even further. At my weight, the needle was near the bottom of the big dial, burying the reading even further between my feet. That, plus the fact that the individual pound increments are hard to see being quite small, made it a struggle to actually see my weight. Not a huge deal, but I didn't want to be struggling for the next 20 years or however long this scale would last. They could have designed this at least by starting the dial (at 0) at the bottom of the bezel and swinging UP - I probably would have kept it! Otherwise, like I say, probably one of the best mechanical scales out there....
