Make a hard job easier. Great tool.
These electric pruners are brilliant, they’re strong and light weight, the small battery allows for access to tight areas, yet lasts for hours, and you have a spare ready should you need it. All comes in an easy to open and close case, that’s clear to see being bright orange. I have no doubt that these will take a finger off, so please concentrate when using. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent! Sharp and reliable!
A very sharp tool - so be extremely careful while using. It will cut up to 15mm in my experience but obviously depends upon the type of wood. The two batteries hold their charge very well both in storage and in use and this tool has never let me down. Best garden tool I’ve ever bought. I don’t like repeating myself but - use with care as once you’ve pressed the trigger the cut will be carried out.

Packed with power and makes pruning easy
I'm very impressed with these battery powered shears from Kebtek as they allow me to quickly prune a nation of bushes and trees with way less effort than when I was using hand operated pruning shears. In the past I was even resorting to using a hedge cutter or large strimmer with blade on for pruning shrubs I should have been doing by hand.....and it sometimes made a mess. OK....it ALWAYS made a mess... Now that I have battery shears I can make a much better job with very little effort so I'm very pleased. In the video part of this review you will see the following being cut by the shears: Tree heather Laylandii Bamboo Silver Birch The weight of the shears (with battery fitted) is only 880g and is well balanced so using them for hours is no problem. On Amazon the 'product details' part of the listing states that the weight is over 1.8kg but that is for the entire box full of parts - the shears are definitely only 880g as I weighed them with accurate digital scales. I'd definitely recommend this product to anyone needing to prune lots of shrubs, small trees and other bushes which would otherwise take ages or be tiring using hand operated shears. WARNING: Keep away from children - I would advise storing the shears in a closed position with battery removed and in a separate place to the batteries as the powerful cutting action will not discriminate between branches and fingers. These shears are a serious piece of kit and have to be handled with respect.

Powerful but be careful
This is a brilliant tool but have to take great care because it will take your finger off in a flash. It's extremely powerful and fast so chomping through the work is easy. I/we tend to make sure we keep our hands well away from the cutting action because it cannot discriminate between fingers or branches, however, if you find using manual Secateurs difficult then this is for you.

Far exceeded expectations
I am fortunate by having 2 acres of garden, with associated shrubs, roses etc. For several years I have been using the very powerful Makita DUP362 pruners. They have an excellent performance, (to be expected with a £900 price tag), however they are very heavy using two 18v batteries and consequently my wife finds them too unwieldy and cannot use them . Therefore last Christmas I bought her a Keptek pruner as a present. She was sceptical that it would either meet any of its performance claims or last any length of time. After six months use she was amazed at how well it was still working. I was also impressed, so two months ago bought myself another pair. Both pruners are still giving outstanding performance and we see their real attributes are: • They are not only very lightweight but also have an excellent balance. • The battery life, before requiring charging, is exceptional. • My wife’s pruner is still giving a remarkably clean cut, up to the maximum capacity, on the original blade after eight months good use. I now use my Keptek pruner instead of the Makita pruner unless there is need to tackle branches above 25mm.

Highly recommended.
Fantastic tool that I purchased after an operation on my hand made using normal secateurs difficult and painful. Now I can prune very quickly for hours with no pain. The second battery is seldom needed because the battery life is amazing. Very highly recommend but be careful and work safely as I’m sure you could easily lose a finger or two if you don’t concentrate fully.

These are brilliant
I have arthritic hands and a very large garden - not a great combination. These secateurs are brilliant. They handle any pruning that wouldn’t need loppers effortlessly. The described cutting performance is accurate both in terms of branch dimensions and battery life. My only regret is not having found them years ago. These secateurs are just brilliant.

Easy to use, fab wee tool
So far so good. This does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I have arthritis in my hands so using secateurs has become an issue. Although they are not as light as secateurs they are not overly onerous. They are fast to use cutting through branches etc with ease. For fine pruning they are more of a challenge but fantastic for everything else, overall a great buy & now allowing me to continue doing this type of work in the garden which I had to give up. One word of warning - keep your fingers away from the blades. Excellent addition to garden tools.

Also immer sehr überlegt und vorsichtig arbeiten!

My little Kebtex pruner is THE best power tool I've ever owned. Lightweight, easy to use, loooooonnnggg battery life (and it comes with 2 so you can work as long as you want to.) I bought a house in 2024 that had 8 overgrown 10-12' shrubs which wanted to be smaller and less leggy and had shocking amounts of dead twigs and branches from being pruned into big balls. They have all been pruned back into shape and I've cleaned up 4 large, fallen branches from an old Thundercloud purple plum tree with just this tool and a reciprocating saw. It makes short work of anything 1" or smaller just as it promises. I've had this pruner for almost a year now, and use it at least 3 times a week. It makes short work of everything small enough for its powerful little jaws to cut, but it's highly manuverable so easy to get into tight spaces and work on delicate plants. It's super easy to clean up with mild soap and water, and I haven't even had to change to the extra blade it comes with yet! It's comfortable to hold for a long time, makes clean cuts and turns itself off if you set it down and walk away. I have no idea how long it will last, but from what I've already put it through, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one when this one quits. It has saved me hundreds, (maybe thousands!) of dollars in arborists pruning costs, and allows me to work slowly so I can make the correct cuts to bring the plants in the yard back to their natural beauty.

This tool is one of the best investments for your gardening care, it makes the job much easier than using a hand pruner, it has good power to cut dry or wet branches with ease and one battery goes a long way, it can cut up to 1-inch and multiple branches at the same time. Well-designed for safety and is lightweight. Highly recommend.
