I bought the ASPECTEK 20 W Electric Bug Zapper to deal with flies and moths in the house, and honestly, I’m impressed. It’s been running for a couple of weeks now, and here’s what I’ve found. Build & Setup It feels well-made—metal housing with a protective cage so you don’t accidentally touch the grid. I had it unpacked, plugged in, and working in under two minutes. You can either hang it up or just place it on a countertop. Performance Within minutes of switching it on, I noticed it catching bugs. The zap sound is pretty quiet, just a little pop when something gets hit, which I actually find satisfying. I’ve used it mainly in the kitchen and living room, and it’s made a noticeable difference—far fewer flies buzzing around. Cleaning & Maintenance The tray at the bottom slides out easily, so emptying it is quick. I give it a rinse every few days, and that’s it. I like that it comes with two spare bulbs, so I won’t need to worry about replacements for a while.

I bought this product to eradicate flies from my home. I have 2 African grey parrots and their food and droppings attractive flies. The product has worked in killing nearly all the flies in my home. The downside to an otherwise effective product is the noise that it makes when killing insects. The bang is quite loud considering the size of the unit, enough that it frightens my birds. It also makes me jump if anywhere near it. Even though it kills some flies, there's still some after 2 days of the unit being on. It's not like flies just cannot resist the attraction of UV light, it could be that they just happen to land on the unit, just as they would land on any other random surface. It is making somewhat of a difference therefore is an effective tool for controlling flies. I'd recommend buying it as it may also be effective in killing other insects during the summer months.

I bought this after my kids kept getting bitten. No more bites on them thanks to this. You hear it go pop when it's had something. The cables short so has to go above a switch. I mounted it to the wall. The popping is loud but makes it exciting. It gives off a blue light.

Postman knew what was being delivered as outside box was partly opened, (delievered to Ireland), but box of fly zapper fine and works well. Took seconds to put chain on and plug in. Killed a lot of flies already, Zap is loud, dog stops but does not freak out like a previous dog that didn't like the sound, so delighted. Have some plant on kitchen window and hopefully it will keep the amount of flies down as we live in country area and doors and windows open.

i have spent loads on things to kill the flys etc, but nothing worked, so i thought i would try the aspectec indoor electronic bug zapper, after reading reviews and doing some research on them, i am SO VERY MUCH delighted with this, ive had no flys roaming around, they go to it instantly, yes it makes you jump when a fly lands on it but you get use to it after a couple of days, [ well i did ], best thing ive purchased in a long while, its worth every single penny, was delivered within two days of ordering, i would give it 10 stars if i could, my sister and my friend are also going to order one tonight after seeing the results when they visited today, thank you so much to seller and to amazon, i no longer have dirty flys flying around, and i dont have to clean and disinfect several times a day !! This is in my garage, which is open from sunrise to Sunset for my dogs entertainment-in the southern Delta. Controls mosquitoes and flies, important because my three dogs are frequently in and out of a doggie door leading to my kitchen. Comes with two replacement bulbs Which are very easy to install. One has been going since the first day and the other had to be replaced because of operator error. This runs 24 seven in my garage. It is very loud when it zaps, While doing some renovation, the flies got into the kitchen, so I moved it indoors. Loud enough to startle. But the flies were cleared out within a matter of hours. The only reason I had to change one bulb is because I forgot to unplug it when I was cleaning the grill with a tiny paint brush and got a bit of a zap. Be warned, not enough to turn it off, unplug it To clean the GRILL . Tho can Just turn it off to empty the collection tray on the bottom Of the unit, slides easily in and out, is made of quality plastic that is very easy to wipe clean
